Having foundation issues were a major concern. Of all the companies who assessed my foundation, I went with Ram just because a family member in GA also had work conducted by them. The Ram Jack Specialist, Brent, was knowledgeable of the issues and went through the process on what needed to be done. Price was never an issue with my husband and I because we had to get this done. Charlie is great. Ramjack? Terrible mistake. A massive waste of money. The individual that came out to evaluate did a horrible job identifying the issue. Now 4 pylons later and a bill of 7k, my floors are STILL hugely out of level. NOT EVEN close, and I was NOT expecting perfection by any means. I'd say they may have actually made things worse now that 4 areas have been raised while, not addressing the worst part. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, unless you are POSITIVE they can address the issues, and I wouldn't expect them to be honest about end results I would have been better cutting the subfloor and sistering the joists. I had Ram Jack come out and give an estimate to fix an area of my home that seemed to slope down where it shouldn't. My foundation is pier and beam. They came out on time and looked under the crawlspace and gave me an estimate to replace a beam and reinforce it with their proprietary system with a lifetime warranty. It was very expensive, but you do pay for a lifetime warranty. I opted to go with another company which fixed the issue at a much better price, but a shorter warranty period. I had confidence in Ram Jack's team, they were on time, thorough, honest, and left a reference list with their quote...but I also have confidence in the company I went with. Horrible company. My contractor and them had issues on payment and they voided the warranty after they said they would correct the problem that came back. The manager at ram was horrible and rude.I called the company numerous times no call back. They don't even deserve 1 star but had to post this.also I'm not at fault all the contractor is and they never received notice of the bill and the customer in return suffers. read more

Just like in their ad on TV a corner of my house was sinking. The bricks were coming loose and my inside wall board was spliting. Ram Jack came out checked all around my house and found that one corner was indeed sinking. The price they charged was fair. They showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleaned up and left. I had my bricks and inside wall repaired and my house is now level. Good company. Good service. read more

Got service, they removed ducting work, and it got damaged. They did not try to fix it. They spent all morning yelling through my house, I could not get any work done because the guy's raspy voice constantly yelling. Now floor is more uneven than it was before. Now I sit in my house with the heater running all day, but something got disconnected so I wake up in 58 degree temps INSIDE MY OWN HOUSE. They did not even offer a solution or try to fix it. Customer service does not seem to care. Their contract does not cover house "damages", but this was intentional negligence. Come on, you're professionals, do better than that. read more

We were looking at buying a property at The Landings in Savannah GA. A rather large 15x24 patio slab deck had obvious signs of sinking toward the house. We called ramjack and spoke with Vic Irby. He offered to some down from SC on a Saturday to assess the issue. He showed up on time and clearly designed a solution with an associated cost. He is a very professional and personable guy--not surprised this office is no. 1 in the U.S. The office staff are equally professional and ATTAINABLE... Two rare business attributes when it comes to customer support. The crew showed up on time and the work was completed as requested, including all the county permit follow up. Expect to pay for the job upon the work completed, with exception of the holes refilled. That happens after the local re inspection. I have to admit I thought we might be looking at 7 six-inch holes for a few months, but not 10 days after the county signature, an equally professional ramjack worker came back and completed the finish work. The final prices was as quoted.. Always a plus and not so easy to determine on initial inspections. I would highly recommend this company. Also they do have payment options through Enerbank which can be helpful with really large jobs. read more

Had some cracks in my brick, called this company along with 2 others. Ram Jack's quote was 3 times more expensive than the other two! Also the person they sent out was very rude and even told me his company had several hundred dollars already invested in him being at my house. I had the work repaired by another company who did an excellent job and didn't seem to be a used car salesman. I would never recommend this company. read more

They are professional, they arrived for the appointment on schedule, they were very thorough in the evaluation of my home, they showed me what was happening to my failing foundation and provided me with a repair plan and the cost to have them repair the damage on the spot! I liked the fact that they have a Lifetime Warranty that is transferral to the new owner when I sell my house. read more

We were selling our house and had Ram Jack come to inspect work covered under the warranty they provide. Instead of checking the warranty they pointed out additional issues they felt were a problem. We had previously had three different foundation companies check the house and the only area the companies actually agreed on being the problem was the one area we had Ram Jack fix. My house was falling down on the garage end so my husband called for an estimates for the foundation repair. In May, a few months after the estimates, he got admitted to Hospice. He didn't want to leave me with one end of the house falling in so we called Ram Jack of South Carolina because he thought they would be the most reputable. Sadly they made a bad call and now I'm stuck owing over $4000 and huge cracks in my garage floor. I've already spent about $3000 because of the depth of the pillars under the garage floor. Since the floor now is cracking all around I have been consulted by 2 other engineers that RJ should have never put pillars under the garage floor to try to save it. I went around and around with RJ trying to understand why they would put the pillars under my garage floor with no good reason why they did it other than to sell pillars, and now I'm praying that the bank will help me get a resolution. In retrospect I regret the decision to use RJ now. Don't make the same mistake I did and please do your research. There are some very good foundation people out there and are even less expensive than RJ. read more
