I remember when my sister first shared Jeanette's Facebook with me and telling her "I would never buy a dog from a breeder", that was around 5 years ago. I started following Jeanette on Facebook and Instagram, I was instantly impressed with Jeanette's program. While it's hard not to pick out your puppy and having to wait until go home day it does truly help to honor the puppy along with the owner. The evaluation videos she sends a week prior are so helpful in the process, they show you the temperament and the type of puppy you can expect at 8 weeks. After 2 or 3 years of following her I put a deposit down for an F1B Standard Goldendoodle, I had an older dog and didn't want to bring a puppy in so it took me another 2 years to actually get my first dog from Jeanette which just happened on Feb 18th. Having gone through the process with Jeanette and her team I can attest to you that she is top notch and so are our dogs I had access to my own puppy page to watch the liter grow, we got to see pics and videos every few days allowing us to see them changing. I had 2nd pick and to be honest my first choice was taken by the person who had first pick, but I do feel like I have the right dog for me. Sedona Grace (AKA Gracie) has been the easiest puppy I have ever raised, she fussed for 5 minutes in the kennel the first night and potty training was so easy. Because of all the handling the team did with her she has been easy to bathe, cut her nails and most importantly to take out and socialize. I put her in a shopping cart and she could careless, she loves to meet new people and to go new places. The vet was impressed with how well mannered she was even at 8 weeks. As a family we collectively have 3 of Jeanette's dogs now, all are angels and when we are ready we will be repeat customers!! We adopted a tiny Yorkshire Terrier. We brought our small Cavalier in to meet with her and everything seemed ok so we took the new Yorkie home. She was a delightful little dog as it came from an older person who had passed away. We were told the dog was 2 different ages because they don't seem to keep good records but that didn't matter to us. They told us she wasn't potty trained, but she absolutely was. My husband especially attached to her very quickly. About the third day, we noticed that she was being aggressive about her food which is something we can deal with. We took her to our vet and started shots for her just to make sure she was covered. She was also added to our pet insurance. We purchased her a nice harness and leash. We put her on Dr Marty's food which she went bonkers for. Right around the fifth day, we noticed that she was attacking our Cavalier. She bit her on four occasions and on the last time we decided that we could not have her beating up on our Cavi. We decided that she needed to be returned. When we arrived at the shelter, they took the dog and I asked the gentlemen at the desk to keep the money on file and we will try again with a different dog. They agreed. We also said that we would like to donate $100 towards the adoption of the Yorkie so she could find a home quickly since she was such a sweet friendly animal with humans. I spoke with Pat later on the phone and she had no issues refunding the $175 balance. That was weeks ago. No money has ever been sent to us. Our Son gifted us with another Cavalier puppy so we won't be needing another dog. I explained that to Pat and still no money has arrived. We have resigned ourselves to the fact we will never see any money. We had donated food purchased through Amazon prior to help the shelter out. We would have been continued supporters but with the refund not being returned, we have decided never to recommend or deal with this shelter ever again. This is extremely sad.

I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life!!!…read more I called yesterday to surrender two small dogs that came from them a couple yrs ago bc my mother passes away recently and they were her dogs. I am personally not able to keep them. PAWS said ok bring them by tomorrow whenever you have time. I had an ortho apt in the morning I told her about and she said it would be ok to bring the dogs in afterwards. Ok cool. Fast forward to after my apt and im ready to surrender them, I call, no answer (as usual) so before I load the 2 small dogs up and shatter their nerves I run by paws to make sure it it still ok to bring them in and surrender them... I walk in and am instantly bombarded by the lady behind the counter that she is closing up and going home. So I explain about surrendering the dogs and the phone conversation yesterday and she got mad at me bc "Noone told her about any dogs coming in and she isnt staying in later to take care of these animals!" She goes on continuing to rant and rave that, "her mom didnt tell her wtf was going on and she is already 30 minutes passed her time to leave". Then she walks to the back room and doesnt say a word to me leaving me at the counter for 5-7mins, then she finally comes back out and says "you better go get those dogs bc im not staying here any longer." She tried to argue with me about the dogs original name from PAWS when my mom adopted it (although I had the original paperwork in my hand) Needless to say it took everything i had to not to respond negatively to this lady and I almost wonder if she should even be around animals considering her disdane for taking care of them. Our pets give us so much joy, but they are here with us for such a short time. Many of us are unsure what to do when the inevitable finally does happen. There are many options, but for us, we decided to have a cremation for our Mary Jane, a corgi-mix. I had made a few calls, but it was Furry Friend Funerals I chose to honor our wee girl. From the moment I called, the person I spoke with cared and was sympathetic. Everyone has been kind, thoughtful and extremely professional. Their service was fast, and delivery of Mary Jane's ashes was done in a timely manner. They delivered her beautiful wooden urn, her little paw prints, and lock of her fur. All were presented beautifully and we truly take comfort knowing our furbaby was taken care of properly and we can go ahead and honor her as she deserves. She was a great old girl and we loved her a lot. Last but not least, FFF is, in my opinion, very reasonable and affordable. So you get wonderful service from dedicated, caring people and at more than reasonable cost. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who has lost their precious pet.
