Before mid-2025, the westernmost Chick-fil-A on that highway was found in Arkansas. But once this location opened in Plainview on April 10, 2025, it became the only Chick-fil-A on the western half of this 2,372-mile road! Kudos to them! And that's why I visited while driving the entire length of Highway 70. I've been to a lot of Chick-fil-A locations including the original in Atlanta, and the food at this Plainview locale is just as good as other stores in this successful chain. There were people at my wedding who did not get to eat. If I had the choice of picking this place to cater, I would choose any other place. This catering company is not recommended for any event. Poor quality food and customer service.

We attended a second large event catered by them and while the beef was tender, the chicken was stringy and so dry, it was also very hard to cut and chew. It was definitely overcooked. The vegetables were very good, but there was too little food and the tea was not in the table. It would have been do much better to have pitchers in the tables. Instead, guests had to continually go to the side tables, then carry glasses of tea through the crowds. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially when we had better food and experiences from other caterers in Lubbock.
