Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night as we had hoped to visit another restaurant nearby which was full. Though it was very busy they managed to make room for us even though we had a baby in a pram. We wondered how they would make space, and we surprisingly saw a couple bring asked to move to a side table. By the end of the evening we realised that this was not unusual as many people seemed to move tables. Them seem to follow the typical practice common in many Indian restaurants of never turning down a customer.
Food was good. Service was quick. Staff were friendly.
As we were finishing our meal a group of 10+ arrived and were stood up the asle waiting for tables to be cleared. Not of plates, but customers. The group waiting obviously felt uncomfortable and kept apologising to us as our table was obviously earmarked. The waitress was told by the manager to clear our table as we put the fork down.
Can't be hypocritical though! They made room for the party in the same way that they had made room for us.
Would visit again, but only on a quiet night! read more
