The Magical Forest is still MAGICAL! The lights are awesome and the train goes through it. Of course the highlight is the TRAIN and it went around the magical forest. This place is a huge indoor playground with three floors of hands-on exhibits that kept them moving the whole time. They loved Toddler Town on the first floor the desert themed soft play, sensory elements, and crawl spaces were just right for their age. But the real highlight was The Summit, the giant 70-foot climbing structure that spans all three floors with 12 levels. I was surprised how well our 2 and 3 year olds handled it! They climbed the levels with no problem, exploring different challenges and interactive spots at their own pace. It was great to see their confidence grow as they went up and down. They also enjoyed the water play area (smocks provided still recommend a change of clothes) and some of the imaginative play zones. We spent about 2.5-3 hours there, and it felt like the perfect energy-burner in air-conditioned comfort a lifesaver in Las Vegas! The museum is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's very stroller-friendly. Admission is $15 for Nevada locals with valid ID and $20 for non-locals (kids under 1 are free). We went on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded, which made chasing the boys around much easier. Helpful tip for families on a budget: If you have a valid EBT, SNAP, or WIC card, you can get admission for just $5 per person (up to 4 tickets per adult cardholder cards must be shown at entry for verification; in-person only). She rescheduled me for 2 weeks later. I got up at 6:30am to make sure I was available, for the new date and by 4:45pm no pick-up. I called and the agent was apologetic, as the previous agent DID NOT complete THAT rescheduling. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for 7 minutes then came back and said she was transferring me to the supervisor, and I was sent to voice mail. I left a message that I needed to hear back or I would donate elsewhere because this was not right that I had 2 errors in scheduling. I never heard back. I am now donating to Big Brothers, Big Sisters. It is hard enough to have to be available from 7am to 5pm, but 2 failures in scheduling and no apology, or call back, is not acceptable.

Once we had signed her up for a summer camp, it opened up the doors to so many other opportunities there that we did not know existed! She has had the opportunity to participate in a master class with musicians that perform at the Smith center, perform on stage with Loren Allred at the MGM Garden Arena, and also given opportunities to learn with many amazing musicians and local artists. Specifically, she loved Clint Holmes and his wife. She made a lot of amazing friends in one week of camp and is looking forward to continuing classes through Positively Arts! From what I could tell it looked like they an overstock warehouse with items that probably didn't' sell from Home Depot, Lowes etc. My dad has a green thumb and found some gardening items such as Miracle Grow Shake N Feed and on our visit I believe items were around $13 and with the 30% it was about $9 when the retail was about $25 retail which was a steal! I think it's worth a visit if you're in the area and are in need of random things.
