While it took less than three weeks to replace the two main flights in the house, the end product demonstrated care and master craftsmanship, as ever single tread had to be created by hand by Marty's carpenters to follow the century-old curvature of our stairs (nothing factory produced). I didn't think brick pointing could have salvaged the mortar joints that was deteriorating at a rapid rate. So I hired Manuel to apply stucco over the brick wall and also paint it afterwards. The paint is so horrible that I have mold now on my walls because he should have used satin or semi-gloss paint! Instead, he used cheap paint. I had to pay HUNDREDS of dollars to get rid of mold on my walls because of Ceasar's mistakes! His workers "renovated" my kitchen and didn't have the decency to patch up holes in the kitchen wall and plumbing. Now, I easily have bugs coming into my apartment. I had to ask ANOTHER contractor and pay MORE money to remove the kitchen counter and patch up the wall. Ceasar should NEVER be in business. His workers also replaced the bathroom window guard WITHOUT patching up holes or cracks in the wall. Every time I shower, bugs come in the bathroom. Beware! He is cheap and takes advantage of customers who do not know about renovations so that he is asked to come in again and "repair" his mistakes.

First of all, I considered myself a very informed and educated consumer. I am very particular, pay extreme attention to details and I know exactly what I want. Let's put it this way, if I was in construction, I would be afraid to deal with myself as a customer. When my wife and I decided to remodel the kitchen and 2 bathrooms in our condo, the biggest challenge we faced was to find a reputable contractor for the job. After picking out the tiles and cabinets (read my other review here for another fantastic guy to deal with), we concentrated on finding a contractor. Out of 5 contractors I interviewed, one gave me a ridiculous estimate (he got a horrible review here by the way), one was booked solid for the next 9 months, and two did not get back to me for whatever reason. Only Cesar from Bravo came out with a realistic plan for a reasonable price, so we decided to give them a try. We started with kitchen. The crew took lots of effort and carefully tapes up the area to reduced dust. My existing hardwood floor was also covered and protected. Demolition was a non-event. Old cabinets were quickly removed. My existing island/bar was also removed so the crew can tile underneath. When they remove the existing tiles, we found the previous owner had tiled right on top of the old linoleum floor. The crew had to remove the tile, concrete, linoleum and glue to reach the bare floor. After cleaning they poured concrete on the whole floor to bring it level to the existing hardwood floor, so no threshold or reducer will be needed. Pablo and Luis did a terrific job here. The tiling process was not rushed and no shortcuts were taken. EVERY SINGLE GROUT LINE WAS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT AND ALIGNED. All of the tiles were leveled with each other. You can only truly appreciate the beauty of it if you ever tried to tile the floor by yourself. After the floor was done, carpenter Javier installed the cabinets with the upmost precision. The tight fit of the cabinets and crown moldings made these store bought cabinets look like custom made for my kitchen and appliances. After the kitchen, we started with the bathroom. There were no surprises here. Extra cares were taken not to damage the existing whirlpool bathtub during construction. When I bought the condo, the previous owner put in the bathtub recently. However, the apron was broken and it was not level. I found a similar apron to replace, but it did not fit quite right. The crew leveled the tub, design and laid the tiles in the way to make it fits perfectly and it looks now like it came with the tub. They did it without me asking and I thought that was nice. I was a little surprised to see the crew custom build a wood frame behind the drywall to recess mount a nice Sophia medicine cabinet we bought. Most handymen would probably just cut the drywall to size and shove in the cabinet with a couple tubes worth of silicon. You can't tell the difference anyway from the outside once it's finished, but the way Bravo did it was the correct way and again no shortcuts were taken. Our master bath was more problematic. The original layout was for us to go though a 24" door at the end of a narrow hallway between two closets. The door was always awkward to use and interfere with the closet doors. We decided to remove the door and knock down the wall from the top of the door to the ceiling. We added a pocket door outside the hallway between the closets. This modification immediately opens up the space and it does not feel so cramped anymore. Javier again did an excellent custom job and make the door way looks much more upscale than what we had. The master bath only had a standing shower. My wife always wanted to have a bathtub in there. The only option we had is to put a Japanese soaking tub in there. I found a stainless steel one online but after going over the dimensions with Cesar, we found it was almost impossible to haul it up in the bathroom without tearing the condo apart. Rather than risking the uncertainty of it not fit, we decided to have Bravo custom build one for us Pablo spend almost two weeks building this monster starting from wrapping the surrounding walls with pvc sheet to make sure it will never leak. He finished the job with glass mosaic tiles. As you can see from the picture, I can't hope for a better deep soaking tub! As with any construction jobs, there bound to have mistakes and mishaps, but Bravo's crew always correct the issues immediately without question and hesitation. I can totally understand that one can feel almost helpless when facing the task of selecting a trust worthy contractor and start a home improvement project. Trust me and give Bravo a try. As A person who went through the whole process himself, I sincerely hope that my experience can help you save some money, headache and aggravation.

I paid him $2,800, which I can prove with canceled checks, and the work was left incomplete. In addition, he caused damage to my home: my blinds were ruined, my driveway/pavers were stained from his van's oil leak, and my bedroom furniture was left covered in dust and drops of plaster. Despite giving him the opportunity to clean or repair the pavers, the stain remained. When I asked him to take responsibility, instead of addressing the issues, he became angry, defensive, and unprofessional in both his behavior and his written communications. He even tried to shift the blame onto me and claimed I should have purchased primer so he could check for his own mistakes -- an unreasonable and unprofessional expectation. Based on my experience, I would never recommend him to anyone. I am now left with damages to repair out of my own pocket because of his lack of accountability and poor workmanship.

We worked with Jeff Struck on a new siding job for our home. After meeting with many companies, we…read morechose Jeff not because he was the cheapest, which he wasn't, he also wasn't the most expensive, but for the simple fact that he was down to earth. We felt an immediate connection with him. The project took longer than expected. Jeff felt the need to work 3hrs on one of the last warmer days, just days prior to Thanksgiving to play golf. Personally, I would have thought working longer on a warmer day would be something you would want to get the job done. However, we accepted this behavior as it really had no impact on us. Upon completion of the project, Jeff stated how he is always available, stands true to his work and if there were any issues he would come back. I guess that stands true until there is actually an issue. His clean up around the property was mediocre with a tremendous amount of visible nails on my patio. He damaged a new piece of trim when removing my front railing and said it would come out. However it's plastic and legit damaged. Not scuffed. The piece needs to be replaced. My husband noticed a gap between one of the sides of the house and the roof. The trim around our front bay window is all dented and does not look complete or new for that matter. All the white soffits and trim around garage doors and windows are literally black from the dirt from their hands when installing. All of which Jeff said upon completion they go and clean it all. We even had coffee drip marks from when they were on the scaffold all over the new trim above the garage doors. Clearly the cleaning process was skipped. Even with these concerns, the worst part about it all was Jeffs lack of communication and attitude when these concerns were addressed. Not once did he pick up the phone to call my husband or I, everything was communicated via text. At one point he mentioned that these were nothing concerns and he honestly feels his work at our home was done. He mentioned that he went above and beyond with something outside of what we hired him for, however at the time never brought it up or said there would be an additional charge, which if so we would have paid. He removed a wall air conditioner so that we can side over the hole. The exchange of texts actually got very nasty and disrespectful. Not something you would expect when his words stated that he stood by his work and any concerns just call him. The job was completed end of November 2021 and 3 months later, Jeff has continued to ghost us. Our last text was how he wanted to make good on his work and reputation and that he would contact us this past weekend. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and not a word, hence for this review. Overall the house looks good, minus the front bay window and front trim by the front door. So upsetting that it has to be in the front Of the house. This review was about the kind of person Jeff is, not necessarily about the work. Stuff happens, we are all human. Just own up to it, fix it and be done with it. This was a huge project for us and Jeffs attitude has taken away from us enjoying what we just spent thousands of dollars on. Personally, I would never hire someone like Jeff to work on anything for you.

To be honest, I had all but given up and was ready for the runaround, but something about Al was different. He called me and was so kind and really listened to me about my roof issue. He constantly followed up with me, explained every step of the process to me, and always showed up/called when he said he would. He also offered the fairest price out of all the quotes we've gotten. As a young couple in our first home, he could've easily taken advantage of us, but he didn't and you just know he's a good guy - as the owner of a company but also as a person. Al Struck scheduled us as soon as the weather was good enough to go, and his crew got to work right away. Al was on site to watch over everything and kept us updated throughout the process. Both Al and his crew were extremely professional and efficient and our roof came out amazing! Even the post cleanup was very detailed and we were so impressed and are extremely grateful. We ended up having a leak again, but it was due to an unrelated issue with the chimney rather than the roof - and yet when I called Al, he had someone come out right the next morning to help fix it for free.
