Since the title was in my name and I'm in Ohio, my only real option was to call scrapyards in the area. Brookfield Resource Management was my second call and I am so happy that I made it. Max was incredibly helpful and made the whole process easy to understand and stress-free. He told me what documentation he needed, communicated regularly with me, and followed up when everything was completed. Brookfield picked up the car from the garage in CT, towed it back to NY, and paid 43% more than the first place I called (which didn't even do a pick-up). I can't tell you how relieved I was to find Max and Brookfield Resource Management. As to the review from a few years ago about being yelled at by "rednecks", I can only say that I would have just ignored somebody like that and gone and talked to the boss in the office to tell the guy off. I think these characters are no longer there. Also, complaining about what they pay is useless. They state clearly that everything you bring to them it is just metals, so what an item cost originally or is worth is of no concern. Just ask your self why you are "recycling" ? For me it is not to make money. I don't follow the going rates for metals. I like to do good for the environment and the few bucks you get can be spent at the hot dog place next door:-) It's close to where I work and I am happy to have this place for drop off, instead of putting stuff into regular garbage. May times I am just happy to leave stuff without being paid.

I was expecting to have to do all the heavy lifting myself (which was a big reason I waited so long to get rid of my computers/parts). When I got to their store, I walked in first to mention that I was there to recycle a lot of items. They immediately sent not one, not two, but THREE team members outside to assist me, and all the items were removed from my truck within about 3 minutes!!
