Art of k9 I can not…read moresay enough good things about Angelo and Art of K9. When we found him we were in a desperate situation. Our dog was totally out of control and having recently but our baby, we didn't know what to do. Angelo took our dog within a week and a half of contacting him and helped guide us along the way until we were able to drop him off. We committed our dog to the 8 week program, unsure of what to expect but hoping for the best. We knew this was a last resort. It's now been about 6 months since we have picked our dog up from the program and I can confidently say that it was the best decision we could have made for our family. Not only is he more controlled, he is actually a joy to be around and have around our child. He listens to commands and we find ourselves very rarely needing to correct bad behavior as it doesn't really happen. We went from having a dog who would never come when called, bark uncontrollably, destroy toys and furniture, to a dog who immediately goes to place on a cot when someone knocks on the door (without being prompted) and lets out a few alert barks and stops once i say enough. We no longer have to worry about aggression with our child. He is great about listening when we get him away from her and often will walk away from her on his own when before he would growl. Additionally Angelo has checked in to see how our dog is doing, if any issues have come up, and whenever he needs a training refresh we have been able to bring him back. First, I called them about nine times before someone finally picked up the phone. They are incredibly difficult to get in touch with. I was told that there was only one girl manning the phones, so she had to decline my call. If you're boarding your dog somewhere, that shouldn't happen or even be a possibility. If I can't reliably get in touch with someone, how am I supposed to feel comfortable leaving my puppy there for an extended period of time? Second, I saw poop sitting in one of the premium kennels. There wasn't even a dog in the kennel, yet while I was on a tour, no one had cleaned it up. That was pretty concerning to see, especially during a tour where you would expect the facility to be presented at its best. Third, there was a woman at the front desk who couldn't stop complaining about this or that. It came across as extremely unprofessional. The entire tour also felt more like an advertisement for the facility than an opportunity to understand why the employees actually enjoy working with dogs. The whole experience felt very artificial, and ultimately, I didn't feel comfortable trusting the people there with my dog. Again, the actual facility itself might be perfectly fine. I didn't see anything truly horrible while walking through, but the overall environment did feel very much like a hospital. For me, though, the lack of communication and the things I experienced during the tour were enough to make me look elsewhere. If you can't reliably get someone on the phone or receive a response to an email, I don't feel comfortable leaving my puppy there for an extended period of time.

I called Paul and we arranged a meet and greet- Cash has been with the pack for over a year now. He goes four days a week and on those days, He sits and waits by the door every morning around the time Paul comes to pick him up- when Paul gets to the door, Cash can't contain himself he gets so excited about going with Paul and his pack of friends. Cash always returns tired and happy after his busy day exploring in the woods and on trails. Paul also takes amazing Photography of the pooches and what they get up to on the trails- we love seeing the photos weekly. We were supposed to just be foster parents for the pregnant mother and her five kittens and we could not keep them all because 11 cats is too many cats to take care of financially for us. We also live in a small space and cats like their space. So I also shopped there because I was a volunteer for this alleged cat rescue place. They just killed all the sick kittens, she personally is a millionaire and she takes donations. I do think her alleged rescue organization is called cat rescue. Yuck to everything. Sorry if you don't like our review but we're only taking the trouble to tell you now so no other animal gets hurt. Best Feline Hotel Ever!…read more I am so grateful that this place exists. I googled pet hotels near me. Petsmart & Happy Cat Hotel came up. I was not happy with how little space my 4 cats would be confined in with the kitty condo at Petsmart. I decided to visit Happy Cat Hotel Westchester when I was in the area at a random time. It's in a nice, quiet area above a hill with lots of trees, but easily accessible. Upon entrance, I was greeted by Christina and her friendly staff. Even though I came unannounced, Christina gave me a tour of the new and clean facility. The rooms have different world/travel themes and they range in different sizes and price per night. The premium suites can accommodate up to 5 cats and the smaller ones up to 3. The price is not bad and not too far from what I would have spent for my 4 cats for 6 nights had they gone to Petsmart. All the premium suites were sold out and I can only stay in a room that is supposed to be for 3 cats only. However, since one of my cats is a 3-month old kitten, Christina allowed me to have all my 4 cats in that room and she even comped the extra payment for my kitten. I felt so grateful, and I had such a warm and welcoming introduction to the facility. My cats stayed at Catspen (Aspen) for 6 nights. You bring their own food and you will fill out how you want their food given during AM, midday, and PM feedings. I also added a 24/7 webcam so I can view my cats any time I want to. It's also a spa and grooming hotel so I booked nail trims for all of them. There is a Catit water fountain in each room and 2 litter boxes were provided. You can also upgrade their litter to World's Best Cat Litter for an additional fee. They also get a complimentary "enrichment" activity, where the cats get their attention and playtime for 15 min per day. You can have more enrichment with additional fee if you want. Every day I was updated with text updates and cute photos of my babies. I would stay with them again. I will make sure to book early so I can get one of their premium suites (Costa Rica Kitty, Weekend in Purris, Serengeti Kitty, or Kitty Cabana).

His room had a window to the outside and interior windows so he could look at the rooms on either side of him and the cats there. The door to the room is also glass so he could watch all the activity going on. We attended the open house in early June and got to view all of the rooms. The hotel is spotless. Each room is spacious and decorated with a unique adorably cat friendly theme. Our cat was not feeling well in the days leading up to his stay as he had a reaction to his annual vaccination. We had to rush him back to the vet right around the same time we were supposed to drop him off at the hotel. Christina could not have been kinder when my wife called to say we would be late. She made it clear she would be there whenever we got there and not to rush. When we finally arrived, my wife was flustered and upset. Christina and her team put her completely at ease and we knew they would take care of Biscotti as if he was their own. They let us settle him into his room and gave us all the time we needed. Everyone who works there are proud, caring cat parents. They took amazing care of my wife's fur baby and we got an update and picture of him the same night we dropped him off and everyday he was there. It made my wife feel so much better and was the highlight of each day of her vacation (happy wife, happy life)! You can also get a live video feed of the room for a fee and it was nice to be able to see him whenever my wife missed him which was a lot! We consider ourselves very lucky that the Happy Cat Hotel opened near us. We finally have a place where we know our cat will be completely taken care of, played with and has enough space to climb, explore and be a cat when we're away. My wife can fully relax now when we're on vacation. We would never leave our cat in one those loud boarding facilities that puts them in a tiny little cage. If you're a true cat lover, you know what we're talking about! We highly recommend the Happy Cat Hotel and Spa and so does Biscotti!
