    I saw this company advertising Macbook Pro at a much cheaper price than anywhere else on the…read moreinternet, so called to get further information and to check that it was a British model with a British UK keyboard. I was told it was brand new and that it was indeed British keyboard. When I received it, the physical keyboard was not British, as it did not have a pound £ sign, (they tried to convince me this was normal and to use a shortcut for that symbol instead) and when I called Apple they verified this was definitely an American model. I contacted the company as they have a big sign on their website, saying NO QUIBBLE refunds within 14 days of purchase should you not be happy. However when I contacted them they quibbled till the cows came home even disagreeing with a verification letter from Apple, acting as they had more authority than Apple itself!!! They were very rude and patronising by telling me I was wrong and they were right, and even told me Apple were wrong!!!! and that it was a British Keyboard!! Although they agreed i could send it back and they would give me an immediate refund, they refused initially to pay the postage of nearly £30 to send it back- because they did not want to admit they had knowingly or unknowingly mis sold it to me. Despite taking the computer into Apple itself and getting them to verify in writing that it was an American Keyboard in writing. They obviously did not want to admit this and tried to fob me off by telling me that all the keyboards are generic across the English speaking world. And just because it had a UK adapter in the box it was therefore British. In effect they mis sold me as US keyboards are sold to New Zealand and other English speaking countries, and refused to agree that the UK keyboard is different. Therefore from my experience, I would not recommend to trust this company if they cannot tell the difference between a British Keyboard and an American Keyboard. In the end, they did agree to give me a refund for the postage, but can you believe they also threatened to sue me if I wrote a bad review?! It took 2 weeks of stressful |QUIBBLING to get my postage back finally, after getting advice on how to deal with the matter legally through Trading Standards.
