It's nice to be able to count on them to have what we need. Their produce is exceptional, and their selection is extensive...which is great given it's a relatively small store. Catch 'em when there's a sale going on, and you'll almost always come in under budget. The staff there are very professional and friendly. Darlene and Twila are always engaging and wonderfully helpful, as are all of the checkers whose names unfortunately escape me...but in any case, it's a fantastic store with great employees there! It is not. Inside is delicious food. The speciality we had was the cheeseburger combo which was a deal at $9.99. A high quality meat burger grilled (as was the bun!) served with delicious crinkle cut fries. Thank God, we were so hungry and the depot not only met our needs but gave up a real treat. The guy at the register was great, very nice, working his ass off taking orders for food and cash from people buying gas. So was the older lady who cooked and delivered our food. I never thought I'd be able to get dried herbs, medicinals, essential oils, homeopathic teas, fresh organic dairy and eggs, and healthy alternatives to processed foods. Don't get me wrong, I'm building a homestead and have a garden, forage and hunt to have the best quality ingredients, but there are some things that I need to complete some of my recipes. In addition to a well stocked store, they have various classes throughout the year, ranging from yoga, building a solar panel system, bud grafting trees, and a new series coming up on herbology. Not only are the classes very informing, but the people I have met in the classes tend to carry on friendships after the class and is a great way to meet likeminded people in the community. The irony of it all is that I moved all the way from Berkeley to the middle of the Idaho mountains and the owner hails from Richmond, LOL!
