In 2025 from the advice of a contractor I purchased everything that was needed to furnish a to-be-built ADU. All kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, sinks, toiltets the lot. As 2025 passed and there was no permit, and no start date in sight, and on top of that the contractor was less than trust worthy I approached Fergusons to explain the problem: there was no ADU, there was no permit, certainly not in 2025. Fergusons without hesitation refunded me the total $ amount. We were floored. WHAT customer service, WHAT integrity, WHAT goodness walks the floor of this showroom and the management. Recently one of the soft close mechanisms stopped working and not sure what to do I called the shop for direction, fully expecting that they would tell me there is nothing they would do. Instead, they set up an appointment to look at the issue. Long story short Steve came out and looked at the issue, returned on a later appointment with the right part and installed it, not charge. I was so impressed that 5 years after the installation they would come out and look at an issue. A lot of places can make a good product, but customer service after the sale, even 5 years later, is the backbone of any product, especially Morro Bay Cabinet products.

So get a handle of the reality of your project space!! We picked out styles we liked then went to the showroom. Dan was very smart to let us get our bearings because there is so much to see and consider. He was a 'no pressure' guy, answering our questions, providing additional info & giving us samples to take home. Sharon came to our home to measure etc but she more importantly she had a really good eye for aesthetics and proportions... and could paint the picture for us. She helped us decide on the elegant unobtrusive surround (38" Milgro 44" total height) (to go on a wall between 2 windows) that met our needs for an intimate living room setting (people focused, not fireplace focused). The price was reasonable. Clark and Shane did the install, using tarps, ongoing cleanup, and going extra mile. They were a pleasure to have in our home. The end result is a surround that's gorgeous and proportionate to the space!! And the bonus?... we met a crew of really pleasant people!
