I strongly urge anyone who is looking at kitchen/bathroom design to purchase from Fergusons SLO. In 2025 from the advice of a contractor I purchased everything that was needed to furnish a to-be-built ADU. All kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, sinks, toiltets the lot. As 2025 passed and there was no permit, and no start date in sight, and on top of that the contractor was less than trust worthy I approached Fergusons to explain the problem: there was no ADU, there was no permit, certainly not in 2025. Fergusons without hesitation refunded me the total $ amount. We were floored. WHAT customer service, WHAT integrity, WHAT goodness walks the floor of this showroom and the management. Integrity is what permeats this business. No matter what future plans are considered there is NO WHERE in SLO county that would get our custom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Fergusons.

She got the job done with the highest level of quality in an efficient manner. She is very knowledgeable and had a lot of great design ideas which was very needed because I lacked the vision to create a great looking kitchen. The standard joke about me, is that the most domestic thing about me as I live in a house. I do not care for cooking so the kitchen has never been my favorite room in the house. I can honestly say, I love my kitchen now and I think that speaks volumes to the great job Cindy did and how beautifully my kitchen was laid out. When I do have to cook, my kitchen was designed so that everything is at my fingertips and I never have to go hunting for anything anymore. Cindy was very thoughtful about my needs and preference in the initial design. I never knew what I wanted in a new kitchen, I only knew what I hated in my old kitchen and she was able to rectify all of those problems in her new design. She was also very patient with all my additional questions and comments, which I feel were a lot... Every time when I asked more questions or appeared not sure about an idea, she would do more research and find more alternatives for me to review and evaluate. The entire process was better than I could ever have expected. I would definitely recommend Cindy from Cucina to anyone looking to do a kitchen or bathroom remodel and I will most certainly use them again for my next project!

Throughout the entire process, Jose demonstrated exceptional professionalism, a strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail. His crew members were equally courteous, hardworking, and reliable. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the finished work. What impressed us most was Jose's ability to find practical, cost-effective solutions where other contractors we consulted recommended complete overhauls at substantially higher prices. His pricing was very competitive, and the results exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate to hire Jose again for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone in the Pismo Beach area and surrounding communities looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and dependable contractor.

The quote he gave was reasonable and the final number was extremely close to the initial quote (it would have been the same but I added things to the project). He consistently offered his advice on material selection and also went the extra mile to satisfy my requests. I initially started with a project that involved full renovation of two bathrooms and some small changes to a bedroom. Since Jose was so easy to work with, I added more to the project (kitchen and entry way tiles and cabinet doors). I am extremely pleased with how everything turned out. I should also add that I was out of the country in the second half of the remodeling process, and Jose continued to send pictures and updates every day. That's one reliable man! An extra shoutout to Ivan who did a lot of work in the house. The guy is a hard worker and a saint. I have told many of my colleagues about JV construction since the start of this project. You usually hear people complain about their contractors, but I lucked out with Jose. Give these guys a chance. You won't regret it!

This Williams-Sonoma is one of the smaller WS loctions we've been to, as it has a very limited selection of home furnishings and decorative accessories. However, if one is looking for premium small kitchen appliances, cookware, tableware, or unique kitchen aids, they have a good selection to choose from. There is a large selection of select sauces, spices and many other sundries, as well as first-rate goumet foods & seasonal treats like chocolates, cheeses, cookies and many unique items. In-store shopping is the best way to ascertain the quality of any given item. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are attentive and helpful. Our conversations with them have been educational and informative, as they know the products they are selling. On-street parking can be difficult, however there is a parking garage one block away on Palm Street.

However, this store was an appliance store. Pivot time! . Well, I also need a new washer/dryer so let's take a look. So I took a look. I didn't have any sales person help. It was offered to me by two ladies. But I let them know that I just wanted to look around on my own and they were both respectful of that. And so I had an opportunity to look at the different washers and dryers, the options, and also look up the reviews on them. Well, my husband finally came to check up on me. By then I had already done my quick research and had an idea what I was looking at. Or so I thought. What I found interesting was that when my husband came in, he and I chatted, and then we went to go find a sales person to see what we were really looking at. I tried to get the lady who had first approached me, but she was nowhere to be found. Then I went and tried to get a hold of the second lady and again was met with no luck. We were about to walk out the door when the second lady did become free, her name was Kerry Jones. I explained the situation, told her we were interested in a front loading machine and asked about a few of the machines. Now coming from a sales background, I understand how commissions work. And I figured that these guys probably worked on commission. That was the reason why I wanted to stick with one of the people I talked to when I first came in the door. After dealing with Kari, I wish I hadn't. She was very opinionated on telling me exactly what machine I should be looking at and what was wrong with the front loaders and a list of negative items to be concerned about. Well, that's great, but that wasn't what I was asking for. And when I was asking her questions, she became very short with me. I checked in with my husband to see if he was getting the same read that I was. He absolutely was. If I'm going to buy expensive appliances, I don't know about you, but I personally wanna know what's gonna be added into the invoice. For instance, will delivery be included or is that a separate charge? Would it be more beneficial for us to go to say Santa Maria for a lower sales tax or is that the same as it is appear? In today's marketplace, we all need to know these things. Kari became very short with me when I started asking those questions. Abrupt, and flushed . I don't know why? As a sales person those should be normal questions. And when I asked her the question of "if it were you what brand would you be looking at? "She actually got offended. What the heck? At that point I picked myself up, held my husband's hand, and we walked out the door. I hope you, Reader have better luck than I did. By the way, we did buy a washer and dryer set. We got a great deal at Costco.

While we rarely go to HomeGoods, we do go far more often to their sister stores, such as TJ Max & Marshals. When is the best time to go? It is best to go for the after Xmas sales, when someone can score on holiday snacks at 50% or more off. We grab a ton of chocolates, nuts, candies, and even holiday coffee just the other day a few days after Xmas. We were not alone, and it is hard not to spend alot of time browsing and not interact with others here. I somehow got into a conversation about the health benefits or risks of some of the foods that were offered there. Someone was asking me about the alleged health implications of Seed Oils, Mushrooms, and more all the while telling me that they would never" get a vaccine. They also claimed that online that some are recommending Nicotine patches to fight infections & COVID itself. I tried to put things into perpective & had already researched the absurd claims on social media about the Nicotine. The Nicotine patch idea had nothing to do with evading an infection, it had to do with some rather hair-brained theory involving a neurotransmitter & brain fog. The so-called "study" was not really a study as it involved only 4 people in Germany. It was done by what appeared to be a non-English speaking Anesthesiologist in Germany...who somehow published an extended long paper in English. I read it and my opinion was that it was near worthless and could encourage people to do something that did more harm than good...and was utterly useless to prevent infection. Other absurdities including buying products from Poland, Turkey, and wherever and somehow working about some fringe ideas about seed oils, and not that Cinnamon & other spices could very well have toxic lead added to them due to simple greed. Lead makes it way into our kids applesauce and other products...yet people somehow worry about seed oils. The MAHA movement, now mainstream, even invades HomeGoods!
