SomI had to buy another ticket for a later flight and they wouldn't refund my first flight they wouldn't let me Board. In the end they scammed me for over $600+ for a flight from Abbotsford to Edmonton and I could have flown Westjet for less. Don't use these clown and fly in their circus they are just not worth it. There are better airlines for less cost and more comfortable with much better service. Rated 1 star because I can't do less or negative.

Don't give this airline your money unless you want to over pay for flights just to use your previous credit. I paid Flair their cancellation fees to cancel round trip flights when life happened and I was unable to travel, I lost 85% of what I had paid doing so, but 15% was redeemable to a future travel credit. I can travel again and tried to apply this 15% future travel credit to my new itinerary, but when booking through the original reservation, it will only let you book a one way trip, not a round trip, even though a round trip was cancelled previously. I tried to call to ask for assistance, was told no worries, start a new reservation and we will transfer the future travel credit to that reservation. So I made a new reservation, called back to apply the future travel credit to the new reservation, as I was instructed to do, and then was told I wasn't allowed to transfer the future travel credit to the new reservation. I was instructed to apply the future travel credit to a one way trip, and just book a one way trip home again. How convenient for them because if you have to book two one way trips to get home again, you have to pay 1.5-2x more for the same flight just because you are only doing a one way trip, instead of a round trip. On top of that, there "policy" prevents these future travel credits from applying on any flight routes that have current promotions on them. This again is ridiculous, because why should you be prevented from being eligible for the current promotional route fares just because you have a credit with them from past changes. Is this not essentially a gift card since this money is yours that you paid previously and what is remaining from the fees you had to incurr from cancellation? If you already pay the penalties to cancel, you should be allowed to use the remaining for whatever purprose you want with that airline. You shouldn't be excluded from current promotions simply because you have a previous credit. I am done flying with Flair Airlines, and will be sure to warn everyone I know of their policies that prevent people from what they are entitled too.

Allegiant Air was the cheapest airline I would know, while Canadian airlines would cost more money and the difference was a big deal. Seats were alright not too comfortable. We included add - on just to be safe. There was nothing in the airplane not even a tablet to watch a movie. Water was not free. No free peanuts either. Staff offered ice when I asked for some. I was able to find tap water in Vegas airport before boarding time. Travel time was 2.5 hrs from Bellingham to Vegas. Trip was quick and inexpensive. Besides there was no delay or any troubles ever. It was not the best flight I've taken, but was a pretty good price overall. We paid $694 per person including flight and a hotel this saved us from headaches. Also Allegiant credit card gives points if you travel often via Allegiant Air.

The good prices aren't worth it even if you give two weeks notice of a severe medical condition and can't make the trip. There are never ever any refunds for any reason. In YVR, you are able to clear US customs, so you do not need to go through the process when you arrive back in the US. This can be a good or bad thing, depending on how much connecting time you have. It was an issue when I had a delayed domestic flight that arrived with less than 20 minutes before the last flight back to Seattle was about to leave. Fortunately, I was able to catch it despite having to go through customs. Recently, I took a flight from Bangkok to Vancouver on Air Canada, which is the only airline flying from Thailand to North America. The flight left in the morning so I had to get to the airport really early. Check-in was fine and not crowded as the airline only operated this flight. The in-flight experience was so-so. The Dreamliner economy seats were uncomfortable and I felt miserable for much of the 13-hour flight as I was recovering from a trip illness. The in-flight entertainment and meal were decent. I had a basil chicken meal, which seemed to be catered by Bangkok Air Catering, which provided me my last tastes of Thailand. My connecting flight back to Seattle was pretty unpleasant as I was very tired and sat all the way in the back of the plane. Fortunately, the flight was only an hour long. Not a big fan of flying on Air Canada. I will say they are fine for the most part when there are no issues. It is just when there is a flight delay which is often or when you are feeling unwell, that the flight experience can be pretty unpleasant.

I was not expecting much, especially from Air Canada. But my recent trip, C98HIF, was more than decent. From selecting flights, to confirming, to online check-ins a few hours before, to the gates and boarding, I was surprised it was seamless. I didn't have a single issue. Is this right?! I didn't encounter something irritable. The agents at the gate and flight attendants were ok and helpful. I like that they are wearing nice flight attendants uniform, and pins. I hope this is back permanently. It show's professionalism. Distinguishes them from those working in the fast food industry wearing sloppy uniform. The seats were as comfortable as they can be. I'm in the middle of two other passengers but it was ok. The onboard flight entertainment is nice and easy to navigate. I enrolled in the Aeroplan. I also liked the free wifi. Gone were the days we turned our devices off and out of touch while airborne. On my return flight the plane was big and seems new. I did envy the passengers at the premium business class. I researched Air Canada doesn't have first class. I want to try that the next time. My carry on was slightly larger so the agent asked to check it in. I was worried as last time I checked in I lost a luggage (different airline). But the agent was polite and explained everything clearly to eliminate my worry. I got it fast at my destination without issues. Overall, the experience was unexpectedly, pleasant! Sure is not in line with the negative news about Air Canada you hear constantly on TV. One thing would put the cherry on top, is if the flight attendants and agents smiled, like the old days. Of course, this can only happen if they are truly enjoying their jobs. It's the only reason why I withheld one star. But I'm sure it will get there! Routing for this airline to succeed! Great job!!!

The Air Canada number…read morejust gave you a recording saying "unless you are flying within 48 hours" please call back - and it hung up. So when I mistakenly booked the wrong city to fly into (those Hawaiian names are so alike!) there was no way to rectify it by phone, and I had missed the online change window of 24 hours. So I had to buy another flight, and hope to get a refund later. When I was within 48 of flying I was able to call and explain the wrong booking. I was told to email the details and it would be taken care of. I got a refund in the mail of $88 when the flight cost $219. There was no explanation given. Calls are allowed now in June, but the wait is 2 hours. Service?

My father and I were flying from Comox to Calgary via Vancouver…read more After setting up his medical at the time of booking, being confirmed and boarded, with the same oxygen machine he has travelled with dozens of times, we were given 2 options, leave the oxygen machine or leave the plane. We tried to explain to to the pilot and stewardess that the fact that my father would die without the oxygen, and a call from Danniele at the customer check in explaining that it was an approved machine we were forced to deplane. My father and I both have medical issues with walking so this became the first problem. Then the plane left with our luggage and medication. Once we returned to the terminal Danielle showed us the list of approved oxygen machines and what a surprise, there was my fathers machine. We then had to take a $30 cab ride, and rent a $120 hotel room. I then had to go to a walk in clinic to obtain a days worth of medication. Then wait 10 hours for our next flight. Then a 3 hour layover in Vancouver. We then went to the only restaurant without a wait to eat. After finishing dinner we asked for a cart pick up but we're told I had to wheel my father back to the Air Canada wing and wait. We waited 20 minutes and once no one showed up I was forced to push him the full distance as we would have been late for checkin. We landed in Calgary at 1:00am after beginning our day at 4:00am. This caused quite a strain on my fathers heart and my knees. All for an obstinate pilot that refused to listen to anyone as if he was on some kind of power trip. This treatment has left us bitter and likely to give poor reviews to everyone we meet. I would like to add that Danielle in Comox was very helpful in getting us a new flight and assuring we would not be removed by another flight. I would also like to add that the gentleman who deplaned my father in Calgary was very helpful in wheeling him to baggage claim and helping him find me.
