I accidentally happened upon this shop as I was on my way to visit a friend to celebrate her birthday. I had wanted to stop by some of my favorite floral shops in the city, but as I was in a hurry and needed to find someplace en route, I asked Siri for the nearest floral shop. And, serendipitously, I happened to be only half a block from this one! I didn't know what I would be able to find...but was enormously surprised by the lovely blooms in their cooler. I was even more pleasantly surprised when the (very helpful) clerk rang up my bouquet and it was 1/2 the price I was expecting to pay!! The only thing good I have to say is that everything came in on time. Other than that I was very disappointed with their services. We had rented tuxes and every single one had a sizing issue. I thought that's why measurements were taken in the first place. Then when I returned the tux my husband wore I was lectured on not having my metal hanger. Also, when I asked for something showing it got returned (because I have had issues with this in the past at a different store) I was told that there was nothing they could give me so I took a picture of the tux on their counter and was told I'm crazy. I called Westminster Flowers, last minute, needing a corsage for my husband to give to his daughter for her daddy-daughter dance. Being that my step-daughter is only 7, I wasn't aware that I was looking for a corsage, last minute, during prom season. Yikes!! The folks at Westminster Flowers were able to squeeze my order into a full schedule, listened to exactly what I was looking for as far as flowers and colors, and ensured that it would be ready when I came to pick it up, only about 24 hours later. With many other florists, this request would likely have resulted in a mediocre product, with left-over flowers, and sloppy construction. Westminster Flowers, on the other hand, created a beautiful, smaller sized corsage for my step-daughter. The flowers were fresh, and in beautiful condition. It had a beautifully tied silver and purple ribbon, and was just perfect. Even better, it was so well put together, it managed to survive, in perfect condition, the antics of a 7 year old for an entire evening. I had a really pleasant interaction with both the individual I spoke with on the phone, and the very nice lady that helped in in the shop. The customer service I received was spot on. I was very impressed with the store itself and the variety of products and arrangements that they were displaying. My only complaint, it was kind of challenging to get into the parking lot, especially late afternoon on a Friday. I had seen an arrangement that was put together in January at a bridal show and forgot to take a picture of them and hired Westminster flowers to do my flowers for my wedding as it was their arrangement. I was worried because I forgot the colors and the look and wanted to see them again and when he delivered them to my wedding on Sunday, I was speechless. Flowers were sent to me by a friend who lives out of country. How many ordered it was stated that there was supposed to be teddy bear and a arrangement of flowers. Flowers for dropped off at my door only to have Damage Done by the cold. I was not notified that the flowers were here. I was at home when the flowers were delivered. No knock on the door, no doorbell rang. Half the flowers were froze. These people are supposed to be professionals! When I called them, he told me they were not responsible for their lack of negligence. Their business skills are lacking! I suggest you don't have anything to do with this Whimsical business. They told me there is problems with the order, they did not bother to straighten out any of the orders details. I give them a - 100 on effort, taking responsibility, and not negotiating a reasonable effort to even resolve this issue. There's plenty of flower arrangement places out there don't use this one. WFG did the flowers for my son's wedding. The centerpieces were spectacular as were the flowers for the bridal party, parents, and grandparents. Special compliments go to Marie who patiently walked the bride and the moms through their options and took meticulous notes about our choices. After setting up the flowers, she stayed to pin the bridal party. She was one of many who went that extra step to help make for a beautful day for the bridal couple. Horrible customer service! The lady who answers the phone is the rudest person I've ever spoken with! She wouldn't listen to me, kept yelling at me, wouldn't tell me her name, then hung up on me! Their flowers are horrible also, they died the same day they were delivered, despite my efforts of watering them and putting them in a cool room like the instructions advised.
