DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! DIRTY BUSINESS!…read more If I could leave a zero rating, I would. I agree with the reviews because they lie and keep your deposit. I really wish there was something I could do to get it back. But of course, they don't answer, and they won't let you dispute it. They know most people aren't going to take the time to go to court over it. I lived there for almost four years. When I moved in, the place was not clean. The carpets were dirty, and there was pet hair everywhere. I had to send messages to the people to come and clean the house and clean out the garage because the garage was full of stuff, and I couldn't even move my stuff into it. I spent days cleaning to make sure it was spotless. I even asked for extra time to make sure everything was taken care of. I had people help me clean and took lots of photos of the place before and after. The property is in a neighborhood that is being gentrified. So there are a lot of homeless people around and people walking the street. When I left, I made sure any trash was put up neatly outside, like it's supposed to be when you move out of a place. Unfortunately, someone came by and rummaged through it all, looking to find anything they could. That left a mess before the rental agency came to look at the house. When you look at these photos, does it look like there needs to be professional cleaning? There is one thing I admit to being a little bit dirty, and that is the light above the kitchen sink; there just wasn't an easy way to clean it. And I was already too tired and stressed, so it's the one thing that didn't get a fancy cleaning. I cleaned walls, floors, cabinets, baseboards, ceilings, and everything you can think of to make sure my deposit was returned. The carpets were stained before I moved in, and so this is the cleanest they could get. One more thing is that after three years of never being late and always on time, I finally needed an extra week. I had spinal surgery, and it set me back a little bit. I asked for some leniency, and they refused. I tried to speak with someone, but they wouldn't get on the phone. I could only message them through the portal. When I kept asking to speak with someone, they kicked me off. The head guy sent me an eviction notice within five days and told me they are not a charity, and I should look elsewhere for that type of assistance. These are some pretty evil people. One positive thing I will say is that they were always on top of taking care of problems that arose within the home. I never had an issue there. They just aren't gracious and will screw you over in the end. I'm a disabled veteran, and I almost broke my back trying to clean this place just so I could get all of my deposit back. I was in so much pain afterward. These people do dirty business for sure. I paid $1200 for a deposit. They kept $50 of it for some kind of admin fee, they said. So they only returned $191 of my deposit. If I had known they were going to keep my deposit, I would've totally left the house dirty. Every landlord I've had gives me amazing reviews because of how great I kept up with their home and how amazing I left it after I moved out. These people are just shady.

When reading the lease, we had several questions which we promptly emailed to Carlos within 4 hours of receiving the lease. As stated in the lease, you are given 2 days to sign. However, Two Doors Realty ran our time down by only stating that they would "get back to [us] soon" regarding what we had asked. Namely, the house was visibly dirty in several areas as well as two external doors having deadbolts that either would not lock or would not release the key un the unlocked position. The lease also stated that flea treatment was needed for the home if pets were present. I asked Carlos to provide proof that the home was infestation-free as it was clear from a musty odor and a dog toy in the backyard that a previous tenants had dogs, and I must ensure the health and safety of my animal. We were lead to believe Carlos was responding to our questions and that he was waiting on maintenance to respond, despite some questions we asked being questions the leasing office should have some basic knowledge of. We asked on a recorded phone call with the leasing office if we would be given extra time to sign, and the lady on the phone only stated she would message Carlos and let him know. Due to Two Doors Realty's lack of care in a timely response, the time to sign the lease expired and was canceled due to "lack of signatures". Do not apply to a lease with this company, and absolutely do not enter into a lease with this company. If this is how they communicate, or don't, with someone they're trying to get to sign a lease, it leaves much to be desired in imagining how we would be treated as tenants. Disappointing, predatory, unprofessional behavior.

She moved out after a year and left the house in good shape. The second year, a group of 3 friends college rented our home. They had issues being punctual with the rent, some months they were behind coming up with the rent. The accounting was off. I contacted Rognas property manager Susanne many times to deal with this and she said they would have Anna look at it. I tried emailing front office and even said I would terminate contract, no response. After a few emails, and time passing, saying she didn't know about the accounting and would let Ana know, I texted Ana. She said she would take a look at the books. She finally talked to the tenants and they started paying the rent on time. No late charges were ever assessed against the tenant though contract said it would be late after the 5th of the month. The tenants gave notice and the property was the vacant for almost 15 days and there was no movement. I decided to sell property after seeing a new contract from them charging a higher percentage + additional fee for renewal each year. . They notified me that they needed 30 days to finalize the books. Really? It was released a week before the 30 days but why hold up the property if it was empty? It would have been a good token to do that. The property was left dirty (see pictures) and I had to pay $450 to clean it. I have not heard if they reimbursed the tenants the deposit or keep it? I do not seek to reimbursed because it is a headache to me. I rather take it and just give a review. I am not a demanding person, I am flexible and patient but businesses need to take care of their clients well. I firmly believe this. I do have all emails and correspondence saved for reference but don't find necessary to list here. This review is similar to here and other reviews of Yelp which were more emotive but agree that communication is terrible, customer service terrible, book keeping is terrible. I would not recommend at all.

Some of these post people leave are ridiculous, Like how are you going to blame the management company for the tenant not paying on time?? Its not their fault. I'm 100% they screened these people before renting to them and they look great on paper but peoples circumstances change. And they don't have control over that. And you cant put blame on the company. And the post saying the apartment was dirty. I don't believe that ,Complaining about all the windows you needed to put curtains on No Central A\C. You knew all of this before renting it. So why would you rent there?? Just to put blame on someone else?? I just don't understand how people are always looking to put down and destroy hardworking folks cause they're mad at that moment. But YES great hard working company .

Once we received the lease agreement I began to fill it out reading it thoroughly. I noticed that we were not allowed to hang anything on the walls. Weird, but not a deal breaker. Further in it read that the provided and overly promoted included appliances would not be repaired or replaced if they became inoperable. I called to verify and was told only the stove would be repaired or replaced if it became inoperable. All other appliances had no guarantee and were provided as a convenience. We decided to go a different route since the ad for the property made a big deal of the provided appliances. One of the reasons we rent is because we don't want to be saddled with repairing or replacing appliances or anything else that may go wrong with a property. I emailed the company and text the representative who showed us the property. I wanted to know how to go about getting our deposit back. I was told that the deposit was non-refundable. I asked where that was stated. She said it was in the application. This seems like a deceptive practice. I mean, we weren't given the lease agreement until after we paid the deposit. I was told the deposit was being kept because the owner had missed out on a week of advertising and possible renters. I thought it was a security deposit, not an advertising deposit. Anyway, lease at your own risk. I guess I should have looked up the reviews before assuming this was an upstanding business. I have requested a copy of the application I submitted. I will update next week whether I get a response or not.

I've rented from 5 different…read morecompanies since moving out in my own and this is by far the worse one between Muskogee, Tulsa, and OKC. Maintenance is an absolute joke unless they enter your home without warning or permission, the house itself is falling apart barely 3 years into a "remodel". Floor panels cracked, bowing up, foundation cracks have shown up ALL OVER the house. They don't use any licensed people to perform work, we had to have a snake drain because we've had issues since moving in and they tried to charge us almost $200, and then when we had a pipe burst they called thier unlicensed plumber maintenance guy to do a crap fix that is still not 100% and happened months ago. Key will raise your rent every year you re sign no matter what, any "emergency" maintenance is actually through the owner who is a rude snob who has 0 knowledge of maintenance and usually takes about 2 hours to respond to a "emergency" Save your money and headache.

From the day we moved in, there were bricks and 2x4s left in the flower bed that should have been cleaned up by the builder or caught by management before the property was handed over. We later learned that the sod was already in poor condition before it was installed, yet it was still used, reportedly because it was significantly cheaper, and then the responsibility of maintaining it was left to the tenants. We submitted a work order for the side yard when we moved in, and now over a month later, it is still essentially a muddy, unusable mess. We've repeatedly asked for updates and still can't get a clear answer. I understand that some of these issues involve the builder, but our frustration is with property management because they are responsible for managing the property and our experience as tenants. If they're waiting on the builder, communicate that. Follow up with them. Advocate for the residents. Instead, we've had to repeatedly chase management for answers and have even been given incorrect information that was later contradicted by the builder. Meanwhile, we're watching new plots being actively built across the street while issues in the homes people already live in are being neglected. We don't expect management to magically control the builder, but we do expect them to communicate, follow through, and actually take ownership of problems that were reported when we moved in. At this point, it feels like getting people into new homes is the priority, while current residents are an afterthought. If you're considering renting from them, I'd strongly recommend asking how they handle maintenance and builder-related issues after you've signed the lease.
