What a gem!!! I'm so happy I stumbled into this place. Incredible assortment of fabrics, yarns, embroidery kits, beads, buttons, etc. The outside of the shop is deceptively small, but the inside has several rooms to explore, all of which are very stocked. I recently got super into Noro yarn, and they definitely had the biggest selection I've seen in person thus far. Weston's has such a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere you can't help but be drawn in. It seemed like most of people inside were long time customers, and friendly with the employees which was really sweet to see. Before leaving, I had a chance to chat with employee at the cash register and found out they've been around for 50+ years.. wow!! We happened upon this store while walking around Mt. Shasta. It was a small store with all kinds of fabric crammed into any spot possible. Nice selection of fabric but a little too close. She also had knitted and crocheting supplies. I managed to find two panels highlighting Mt. Shasta and will make two table runners to remind me of our stay. read more

Visiting from the central valley, I found the friendliness shop. Full of knitting and quilting material!!

The woman there was so helpful helping me pick out yarn for my first blanket I'm crocheting. She took the time to offer insight and told me I am welcome to come back if I may need help with my crocheting journey! This place was a sweet hidden gem in the town of Mt Shasta. Wow, this place is great!! While traveling through we were in need of some embroidery thread. The lady there grabbed our sample, found an exact match (for $.81 no less!) and we were out the door in minutes. Impressive selection and super great service!! read more

Mickey is the wonderful proprietor. She has AMAZING Art quilts. Row by Row is a must. They created a beautiful custom watercolor-esk panel of what, "Mt Shasta". Giant selection of fabrics and notions. The yarn department has plenty to choose from. I so wanted to buy everything. read more

I have visited this store on two occasions and have had two vastly different experiences. The first time I think Patricia was there and she was really nice and helpful (I was buying yarn). When I went back for a different size yarn needle the owner was there and she was extremely rude and pushy, following me around everywhere and showing no interest in having a conversation. I was basically hurried out of the store and treated like a criminal... The yarn selection is good, however the knitting needle selection leaves something to be desired. read more

Loved this little shop. Beautiful fabrics. Lots of sewing accessories. Yarn department was small but a wide selection. Discovered a new craft, Free-form Color Play. The ladies in the shop were very friendly. My husband had a great time talking to Marlene, so I got to browse a little while longer. read more

Lovely little shop packed with nice fabrics, trim, and yarns. Stopped here for their row by row block and was not disappointed. Ladies were friendly and helpful. The sale cubby had lots of choices and the regular yardage appeared to start at $8.98 which is great for quality fabric now. I will return when in the area. read more
