This place was so clean when I walked in I thought it was a brand new retail store. I had to ask if it was a thrift store. The staff was extremely friendly and there were deals half off on shoes and linens and buy five pieces of clothing and get two for free. I had a great time. This was my experience a few days ago: The store has been rearranged and it looks nice. They have the tendency to place decorative items inside of baskets , giving the impression that the price s inclusive of all items in the basket. No signs saying that the price is for the basket only. When you get to the register, the staff acts weird as if a major problem has occurred. Then the manager comes to the front to inform that the price is for the basket ?!? Really, then why don't you identify the decorative items as such?!? Very annoying! Yesterday, I returned I noticed that the prices very unusual higher than previous days. I was interested in purchasing an item and was taking a final walk around before purchasing the item. All of a sudden, this guy comes up to me and hand signals that they are closing in 3 minutes. Waving three fingers in the air as if I was deaf? Really, it felt awkward and weird . Who does that?!? I left without buying anything. Customer service, regardless if it's a high end store or a local thrift shop is vital. Customers need to feel welcomed and comfortable while shopping! Otherwise, they will not patronize the store. Not sure if I'll will return. read more

Eagles Nest is a wonderful thrift store. The atmosphere is bright and the volunteers are super nice and helpful. Angel does a fantastic job with rotating and displaying the inventory. Every time I visit the store I find a new treasure. I have found so many awesome deals over the years: GAP jackets; designer jeans: beautiful art frames and gorgeous antique. I highly recommend Eagles Nest for a fun treasure hunt !!!! read more

This is a clean, well appointed thrift shop. I was blown away at how neat and tidy everything is! Prices are reasonable and quality of the merchandise is good. The two people working here today were so nice! They chatted us up and even allowed us to bring our Pomeranian in with us while we were shopping. Found some nice treasures and the friendliness of the staff made all the difference. Thanks for taking great care of us during our visit! read more

Poor costumer service. Some of the staff is lazy. They don't go that extra mile to assist. Also went to drop off items, arrived at 3:05PM. 5 minutes after the drop off time posted. They wouldn't take our items. Said sorry, come back tomorrow. Wasn't much and I was shocked at the response. Drove to another 2nd hand store in Mt. Shasta, and they were excited to help and take the donations for people in need. We were just trying to help and seems people at Eagles Nest just don't care about assisting people in need, Also high prices. Some items Amazon is less and new. read more

This is not the correct address. They moved to the old pharmacy location on Main and E. Lake. Okay this may help, they are right next door to Cedar Lanes bowling. We were up in Weed for a do nothing weekend because quite frankly thats what we yearn for at times. Of course, looking for something to do, we took a tour of Main St. and wanted to note any changes. Well one of the positive changes has been the move of the College of the Siskiyou's (COS) thrift shop. The new location is bright, clean and airey. One of the volunteers gave me tour of their new building, (2) dressing rooms,and complete with washer dryer. Now how many thrift shops have that! The ladies were helpful and friendly, the young man working the register was also friendly and helpful. They only keep clothes and items which are in good condition, they bag up and sell in bulk the rest. Small selection of jewelry and other items. Prices were very fair and go to a good cause. As one of the volunteer ladies stated..."we are the Macy's of Weed! " read more

I appreciate the number of donations they take in and that there's a small thrift store in town. A great place to drop off unwanted items. However, the prices are pretty high for even subpar items. Items with holes will sell for a higher price than what you would find at most thrift stores. read more

Fabulous place!! I love shopping there! I always find such interesting items that are either new, lightly used or vintage. Friendly staff that are always willing to help. The supervisor, Angel Fisher, is great! I shop there several times a week and I highly recommended if you are driving though that you stop and see how wonderful the Eagle's Nest is!! read more

I am giving this shop 3 stars but it wasn't for the sweet older volunteer I believe her name is either Maggie or margie , and the polite young men who work there I would definitely rate this business at 1 star. First of all the lady(not entirely sure what her name is) who runs the store, she has a mole on the center of her forehead,she was a nice lady to me but when it came to the way she treated her employees/ ... I disliked very much so! Every time I've came into this place the student workers have workers were very helpful and always seemed to have been working hard. I appreciated the effort they put into helping me find what I needed I even got a nice pair of shoes for my sisters wedding at a fair price! In which I still wear on special occasions. But one thing that has turned me away from liking this store was the manager she wants to take all this credit of managing a resale shop but she can't even treat her workers with the equal respect that they deserve.how do you expect your workers to work well and put on a happy face if you can't even show them that? Great student workers,friendly volunteers and great items at a fair price but a snobby manger. I probably won't be returning. read more

Great place for just about anything you might need. This place is amazingly clean and has fabulous prices. The manager and her staff go above and beyond to make sure my shopping experience is always great! They even go as far as remembering my tastes and are always happy to show me things they know I will like. Many times I have witnessed the manager and her staff address customers by their names with great big hugs. It is refreshing to see great customer service practices being taught. read more
