They are not the most out there staff, but they give you the right change back. I've snuck in for some chewing gum or to flick through some new magazines. They have all the European versions of Vogue and Marie Claire and other genre magazines. But their fashion range is really good, being in Kings Cross they have to cater for the crowd.

The Leichhardt Newsagency is a small shop, but full of a wide selection of magazines and newspapers. They sell all the things that you would expect to buy in a newsagent and the women behind the counter is always very friendly and always tells me to have a good day. Once I went there and they were out of tickets, which was an issue, but I've been there at least ten times since and that late delivery of tickets never rehashed itself, so I think that was the rarest of occasions.

They have the mags I like - Frankie, Yen, Web Designer, Wallpaper as well as all the glossies, sports and family magazines and newspapers. But they also have things like super glue, sparklers, A3 coloured card, files, street maps, birthday candles and icecream. If you run out of bread, milk or Tim Tams this week shop will have you covered when the markets are closed. My only issue is the three stairs up to get in her as I often have a pram with me. Roseville Newsagency is always bustling with customers from those purchasing the weekly gossip…read moremagazines to customers who buy the Saturday lotto in the hope of winning big. The staff are very efficient and the store is well lain out, however, if the store is busy, it can be a little difficult to move past people in the aisles- which is common is most newsagencies. On many occasion, the owner has given me a discount as a result of buying magazines in bulk. The staff are so friendly I prefer to buy my stamps and stationary from here rather than the local post office. I visit Roseville Newsagency on a weekly basis and have never had a bad experience. They have a reasonable collection of magazines- I only wish they had space enough to stock more! Books are also available and can sometimes be purchased at discounted prices. They basically think of everything! Parking is available right out the front and is free for half an hour.

For Newington, this is a pretty well-stocked newsagent. They have facilities to top up your Opal…read morecard and off and have special stands with cards on occasions like Mother's Day, etc. they have good opening hours to, and also accept parcels on the ParcelPoint system. However, the staff are quite unfriendly and are not proactively helpful.
