There's something about this Jetts that I can't quite put my finger on. I suspect this one has formed out of an old takeaway building, as I'm pretty sure there's a drive through drive way in place. This Jetts I find the equipment to be a little older and not as shiny as other ones, but I won't deduct for that. The broken sign seems to hang around for a bit longer on the equipment than I like, but I don't know the back story. They do have heaps of storage which is a winner for me. Given I've just moved and I'm hanging till a Jetts closer to home opens it will do for the moment. And I get the garlic hit of the pizza shop when I leave. Don't go to the gym when hungry, those smells will get you and torture you to no end.

I have nothing to complain about. That's unusual when it comes to me and banks, but this place…read moreseems to have been engineered to cater for you from the moment you walk in. Staff don't let you hang around looking confused - they're there to help or point you in the right direction. It's spacious, there are comfy seats to wait on if you need to, and you can either stop to chat about all the banking products you wish to (if that's your thing, you freak), or you can be in and out as quickly as the queue allows. Staff are knowledgable, helpful and do it all with a smile.

NOTES: ~ This is the ONLY Commonwealth Bank in the CBD that…read moreopens on Saturday (10 AM - 2 PM) After nagging my boyfriend to join Commonwealth instead of NAB due to Commonwealth's prolific amount of ATMs and great customer service, he finally caved and we walked in to open up an account because he needed one by Monday and this was the only bank with weekend trading. At first glance, you realise that this bank caters mainly to Asians - most of the staff are Asian, which probably helps a lot of immigrants out because they're a bilingual branch. However, no need to fear if you only speak English because the bankers here, although of Asian descent, speak English 100% fluently so there is no language barrier on all fronts. We were served by a personal banker named Justin, who was very nice, efficient, and overall did a fantastic job. He cracked a few jokes here and there and made our experience of "going to the bank" not a tedious errand. --- The only downside is because this is only bank in the CBD that does weekend trading and probably one of the very few that has bilingual services, it is extremely crowded. The teller line was enormous and stretched to the far end of the bank. Thankfully, the wait for a personal banker took only a few minutes, but if you're here to deposit money you might consider this to not be a very quick errand.

Aveen Mitra really stands out for the service he provides, and remembers you when you come back in. This must be what banks were like when my parents were my age, you know in the 'good old days'. Banks all do the same thing, yeah, but the way they do it is what makes some stand out. Bank of Melbourne is back, and doing it right.
