    Entryway. Cool vibe.

Beautiful pool. Saline. Fast swim. Plenty of room/lanes. The swim teams come in at 3pm. Friendly staff. Locker room could be bigger.

This aquatic center has two pools: the new olympic pool (opened April 7) and the old Leo Cancellare pool. The new pool is big, the water is a cooler temperature and it is deeper but had a shalow part in the middle. The old pool is smaller, water is a bit warmer, and shalow parts on the beginning and end. The building now has new locker rooms and showers etc. too. Bring: your own lock to shut the locker, shampoo/soap (no dispensers here), blowdryer if you need one (no blow dry machines).

Swimming pool was really cold and when you call they tell you it's 84 . They don't give refunds or a raincheck

Entry was $3 each even if you don't swim. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. The deepest area of the pool is 4 feet and the shallowest is 2ft 4 inches. Eases the mind about any drowning accidents. There's music playing the entire time and there's also a cool little water slide that requires a certain height to go down it, so that those will be able to to stand in the water after landing in the water. Being my first time, I had questions and different interactions with the staff and all were kind and helpful. Signs say no food, but there are vending machines with a sign that reads "use at your own risk". It's fitting because my first attempt at buying a bag of chips, I was shorted and the chips never came out. The second time (yea, I really wanted a snack), I went for a Reese's and it was a win. So yes...at your own risk. There's a little outdoor area for you to stand and dry without exiting. May be a cool place to bring the kids for the summer or even a small little birthday gathering. There's a splash pad outside for the littles and some picnic area seating under a couple of gazebos. First come, first serve I imagine. My kids wanna come back, so we we'll be back. A little over an hour was all we needed to enjoy.

I was excited to learn Pure Barre opened two locations in El Paso since my last visit here in 2017…read more My sister-in-law lives very close to this Kern Place location and is a regular. She was able to get me a free trial while I am visiting here for Memorial Day weekend/to celebrate my nieces' birthdays. We came here three times already! Friday and today we took the classic class, with Erica Friday and Heather today. We took owner Salina's empower class on Saturday. The workout is very challenging but the instructors were motivating and corrected my wonky posture as needed. They seemed to know all clients' names and called out compliments to people by name throughout the class. The studio is spacious and clean. On Friday, we got free wine after the class! I also got free scented epsom salt as a newbie. I definitely was sore after each class! This is a nice community of women and a great addition to the area!

I love Pure Barre and this is an amazing studio! Joey and Salina (the owners) are fantastic…read moreinstructors and are very welcoming to everyone! This studio offers three different classes: classic pure barre; empower (which is more of a cardio workout); and reform (which is more Pilates based and incorporates resistance tubes). I love all three classes. The regular barre class incorporates small movements where you use your own body weight as resistance and then you stretch intermittently throughout class. I've always loved fitness but Pure Barre is by far my favorite work out! Plus, the people at this studio are amazing! I can honestly say being at the barre is my happy place. If you are even the tiniest bit curious, check it out! Worst case scenario you will get an amazing workout. Best case scenario it will change your life! This studio, in my opinion, also boasts the best work out retail in the city! Check it out :)
