I am extremely disappointed with Angelina Animal Hospital…read more My 2-year-old dog has been suffering from worsening vomiting and bloody diarrhea for the last couple of days, and tonight it became much worse. Because your website clearly states that you offer 24/7 emergency services, I called expecting at the very least some level of urgency, compassion, or guidance. Instead, I was essentially told "good luck." When a pet owner is scared, desperate, and trying to get help for an animal in pain, that kind of response is incredibly unprofessional and completely lacking in empathy. If a hospital advertises emergency availability, there should be a reliable system in place to either provide care or direct pet owners to immediate help -- not dismiss them in one of the most stressful moments possible. I understand emergencies can be busy, but the total lack of concern for my dog's condition was unacceptable. No pet owner should be left feeling abandoned when their animal is sick and actively suffering. I see why there rating is so low! This place does not seem legit! Good luck Angelina County! What's worse is I was 10 minutes from the establishment and started heading that way once the person on the phone told me that they were talking to their supervisor about meeting me arrived on site and seeing people inside the building. And she told me basically good luck that they couldn't help me. If possible, I would leave a "0" star! After reading the other "0" stars I see an astonishing pattern here. They do not offer 24 hour service! Something needs to be done about this place. Like it needs to go out of business sooner than later.

its absolutely obvious that the 4/5 star ratings are fakes done by the employees emails and not…read morecustomers. It cost over 1100 and I never spoke to a vet when the 4mo old puppy was brought in about the diagnosis from a dog attach inthe mouth of the puppy he stayed in the fsility for two days and when i went to pick up the puppy never saw the VET-- so i was seen by title of Vet Tech -- these are not licensed Vet techs as they claim they lied _ just researched the Texas sate vet data base. I had in depth questions on the ongoing care that flustered the so called assistants Vet tech by title only no certification. So the belly ached to the vet about my questions what it was is that i called them out on their incompetence so the Vet finally saw me not to talk about the puppy or the ongoing care BUT that if i am challenging their care I could go elsewhere--after paying 1100 i asked for a copy of vet notes and the care given over two days they charged me $25 for 4 page copy - piss poor customer interface- incompetence - and fabrications. Staff was really helpful and cared a lot for my baby Dottie!!…read moreI've gotten the fleas under control with her and our other dogs! Sorry it was so bad, thanks for all the help!! My wife, Linda and I are huge animal lovers, when we have animals they aren't pets they are our…read moredaughter or son. Today we made a mistake taking Gypsy to a new vet, Beall Animal Clinic (https://www.facebook.com/BeallAnimalClinic/) in Leesville because they offered a wellness check at a really nice price. Our appointment at 3:30pm. I will kick myself in the head till I die that I didn't feel a warning and left before everything turned to crap. First Gypsy was very agitated in there and I think a dog had pooped in there earlier and it was unsettling her plus the trip there was about an hour. Or perhaps it's the unsanitary exam table that was freaking her out because her exam table still had the toenails and hair of a dog on it!! Whatever happened to sanitary exam rooms and separate rooms for dogs and cats????? So before they would do their exam they said they'd have to sedate her and then another shot to wake her. Like a fool I made the worse error I've ever made and signed an agreement to sedate Gypsy. Then a few minutes later after they had given the shot through her carrier(??) the nurse came out and said they gave her the shot and wait a few more minutes. Then a few minutes later she comes out and said something to the effect of well the shot must have missed her??? How the hell do you miss giving a shot to your patient?? Then a little later they came out and said "Oh now she's starting to nod out." So apparently they had no idea how long a sedative would take!! Then to top it off we say well now she's sedated you can give her an exam and her shots. They said sorry you'll have to come back tomorrow as we close at 5! Hello WTF you give her a sedative shot that you say you need to give her one to wake her up, then fluster us so much we don't know what's happening and then shuffle us out because it's closing time? Some dr & nurse you, so getting off work right on time is crucial over your patience....all I gotta say is it will be a cold day in hell before we come see you quacks again! Oh and if you should try to bill us for your quack-laced "exam" you will just further infuriate me and focus my mind on a lawyer while we care for Gypsy instead of waiting to see how she recovers I'll just go see them sooner with a definite plan!! You better hope Gypsy pulls through, cause if she doesn't all bets are off, that's my little girl!!!
