This florist assured me they could duplicate an arrangement I saw on Teleflora with just one substitution. I agreed to that, but the arrangement, when delivered, in no way resembled what I ordered. Of course, I was unhappy with the result. When I spoke to them by phone, they said to bring in the arrangement and they would add some flowers. The flowers had been delivered to my sister two days prior. I couldn't believe they would expect a person to get the flowers they had sent so they could correct the situation. This was so tacky. Westwood Floral's arrangement had the "Wow!" factor that impressed my Grandmother and family on her birthday. Being out of state, I once again ordered online a floral arrangement to have sent to my Grandmother for her birthday. It's a tricky endeavor in that you don't see the item in person either when buying nor when delivered. Last year I went through a membership store to order a floral arrangement because their product standards are high as is their customer satisfaction - however it didn't work out well that time. The arrangement arrived in a state of decay (which horrified my Grandmother). I contacted the vendor and they were good about sending a replacement, but my poor Grandmother... and the shock to all. The vendor was from a neighboring state and they have to use a shipping service, but likely the flowers were in a bad condition to begin with. This time I thought it best to "buy local" and eliminate some variables. Doing an online search I found Westwood Floral (Johnstown, PA) and selected an arrangement on their site; wrote a brief birthday message to be included; paid; and then crossed my fingers. In a week my Aunt sent a picture of the delivered arrangement and words about how impressed my Grandmother and all were by the fullness, freshness, variety and colors of the arrangement. I've ordered roses here multiple times. This time they came with all the edges dying looking greenish brown. They refused to do anything about it and are adamant that they are fine (I could hear everything the lady in the background was saying). I am very disappointed. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of my past experiences. I had them delivered and I am pretty much out of luck at this point. I won't feel safe spending my money here in the future sadly. Hopefully my wife isn't too disappointed for our anniversary. (Check the pictures) read more

The great thing about this place is it is also a gift shop. So for any special occasion or just trying to get out of the doghouse. They have what you need. They also a very large collection of jewelry from necklaces to anklets. The women just go crazy over their selection. Also available are cards for that every special occasion. I have been using Westwood Floral for over 10 years now and always pleased. They also can rush last minute request arrangements which is what i did on this particular day and had my arrangements bundled up in less than an hour. In my experience the flowers have been beautiful and unique. My son sent me flowers to surprise me for my birthday and they were left on the front porch ( in November ) and not discovered until the next day. Fortunately they were fine. Do not order anything from this business. They are extremely rude. We were getting a floral arrangement for a funeral and they were extremely rude and nasty. We made the suggestion to the funeral home director, who owns three funeral homes, to not suggest them to anyone or use them for anything because they clearly are not suited for such a delicate situation and lack any form of customer service.
