I met Scarlett who did the hand over she went through all the features in the car patiently showing me which buttons to press for all the options, again easy to talk with, Scarlet rang me a couple of days later to make sure everything was ok with the car and if i had any issues with some of the features which was very nice of her. ***PLEASE READ**** If you are considering buying a vehicle from this shocking garage…read more * Jeep sold with known faulty Turbo. * Sold with 12 month MOT but was actually 5 months. * Garage sold cherished plate without permission. * No warranty activated due to them being incompetent with filling in DVLA forms. * Blatantly dismissive, rude and ignorant. * Courtesy car provided was fit for scrap yard only. * Told car was repaired, yet an independent garage said the engine cover had not been removed. * Hours spent trying to contact Garage only to be fobbed off. * High Court Enforcement Officers recovered full costs through Court. We purchased a Jeep from VIP cars, impressed by the website and initial contact with the company and we fell in love with the car. Richard seemed genuine enough. The engine light was on as we drove away, he plugged it into a computer and he assured us it was just the valves. We took it back to be fixed but the next day the light came back on. We got a second opinion from a local garage who said our turbo was on its last legs in OverBoost mode, rather annoyed that we had been sold a car with a known fault by a seemingly reputable garage, we contacted Richard again, he said it would be a couple of weeks till he would be able to look at the car, but I explained we couldn't risk driving it around as it was literally on the verge of blowing. He said to call the AA if we broke down. Without a choice, we drove the Jeep 70 miles back to Richard, we live in North Yorkshire. We were given a Y reg Ford focus with ripped seats, no radio, no blower (in the height of summer) broken windows and only 1 door that would open with a key. We have 2 toddlers and I was 7 months pregnant. A month later after chasing him weekly, Richard said he had reconditioned the turbo "out of his own pocket", but sure enough the next day the light came on again. After a second opinion again, the garage informed us that the engine cover had not been removed and the turbo was in the exact same OverBoost condition. I threatened to take it back and recover my money under the Sales of Goods Act which Richard refused to do and said it doesn't apply to motor vehicles. I wanted him to pay for the new turbo fitting, he refused but after numerous calls he said he wouldn't pay for the labour and would only pay for a second hand Turbo. The total bill was £1100. They incorrectly completed the forms for the DVLA and sat on them for 4 months! In which time he sold my car with my personalised plate on, which I have now lost! When the forms eventually came through we found out that our MOT ran out in July 2014, not in March 2015 as advertised when we purchased the vehicle. Fuming, my husband called Richard who's response was "you sort it, that car has already cost me enough money!" The MOT bill was £680 so we decided to contact the small claims court. Last week we received £1,226 in compensation from the small claims court (not without a visit from the bailiffs) and Richard received a CCJ. We no longer have the Jeep after the Cam Shaft failed just 2 months after the turbo! We decided we wouldn't spend another penny on it and opted for a shiney new Kia Sportage :)

This company is a sham. Sold me a car knowing it was faulty. They apparently serviced it the day I…read morepicked it up but on the way home it had two separate warning lights. They had the car back within 24 hours of me picking it up and have had it ever since. Even the car finance company have agreed that it was faulty and cancelled down the finance and yet they are still holding my contribution payment. I have now had to start a charge back with my bank. This has been going on since May 6th. Do not trust this company at all both sales person and manager are soo determined to hit their targets by all means possible. I would never recommend them, go to BMW or Mercedes direct, they actually sell road worthy vehicles!

I ordered the Polo GTI and their website said it came with all the bells and whistles (in particular parking sensors which was a big thing for me)...but it arrived with nothing. On the website it clearly said parking sensors were included (I have screen shots) but when Chris sent me the order form it clearly stated ''no extra's included''. I confronted Chris about this and his reply was ''The extras you stated are standard on the GTI model therefor it won't state extra's''......but they are not!! When we confronted Chris after the car was delivered his response was ''it says no extra's on the form''. Basically Chris lied to get a deal across line...well done Chris. We probably have a case of legal action but frankly I can't be bothered to waste my time and energy on lying cretins like this. In short, if you chose to deal with this company then read all of the fine print and don't trust anything they say. To clarify, it was a chap called Chris Hare. Judging by the type of company this is he'll probably get a few ''high fives'' for this review...you can almost hear the ''you screwed someone else over to get a deal, great work!''.
