Great location with its beautiful balcony awesome quartyard. Private room for a pool table and it rocks. Beer on tap. Nice staff. Summer block parties and so much free food.

WeWork has a good view and no Soul. Don't be Fooled. Read my review for more info.

Parking was super convenient, there's a small private lot right next to the building, but if that's full, there's plenty of street parking nearby. The staff was really friendly, and the place itself was spotless. Bonus points for gender-neutral restrooms, love to see that level of inclusivity It was raining the day I went, so I didn't get to check out the rooftop, but I heard it's a pretty awesome spot for collabs or just hanging out when the weather's nice. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

The best coworking space on the west side! I've tried them all (Wework, Blank Spaces, Spaces, Kinn,…read more& Moss) There's nothing like Beach House, it's literally a block from the beach. The difference is that most of these spaces only offer communal picnic tables to cowork, but at Beach House everyone has their own desk, monitor, and divider so it's more private. This is unheard of at other spaces unless you rent a full time desk. There are tons of spaces to work, and they have a really nice patio. There's phone booths to take calls and free coffee. I ride my bike in three days a week and some days I drive there so I can bring my dog. The plans are pretty flexible and they let me cancel for the holidays the week before my billing period, then resign up after the new year. I've brought colleagues in to work with me and they've been pretty lax about it. Have rented a small conference room from them a few times too, which was really reasonable and convenient. The internet is crazy fast. The staff is super nice. I also have a mailbox with them, so my business address is set up there. Can't beat all the restaurants next door. Oh & they have PUPPIESS. They have a puppy rescue in one of their offices so there's literally puppies there every day. 10/10

The lobby was filled with food for breakfast and coffee and the tables and chairs were so comfy. I loved the ambiance and artwork and it had an upbeat and luxurious feel to it. The screening room was small but still spacious. The seats were also very comfortable and plush. The picture and sound quality was superb and despite that we only watched clips of the films, I was still able to see and hear everything well, sitting further back. Parking was also very easy in their lot and the attendants were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this space for events!

The outside courtyard is so nice that I often spend the workday working outside. It's just so inviting and relaxing. And it really helps give the sense that you're working in a backyard, not in a huge office building. There's a bit to get used to with the elevators & navigating around some of the floors, but eventually it will becoming second nature. I just definitely got lost a few times the first week or so of me working out of the space. The fact that it's right next to Sawtelle and all the great restaurant options is an added bonus to this already great location.

I've been a multi year, multi location customer of Spaces and Regus, and my experience with the…read moreWater Garden location in Santa Monica has been by far the worst. The staff, especially Dominique Carter, have been consistently disrespectful, defensive, and unwilling to help. For months, I've been trying to reach someone at this location to fix an account issue caused by Regus entering my email incorrectly when setting up my account. Because of that error, I've never been able to access my account or receive important notifications. Every time I call, I get routed to a call center that promises a follow up, but no one ever resolves the issue. When I finally got a call back from Dominique Carter, I was met with rudeness instead of assistance. Rather than helping to fix an obvious system error, she dismissed my concerns, argued with me, and even refused to escalate the matter to a supervisor. Despite acknowledging that my email address was incorrect in their system, which made it impossible for me to submit cancellation or renewal requests online, she repeatedly told me there was nothing she could do. As a result, my account auto renewed without my consent, and I'm now locked into another 12 month term simply because of their internal mistake and lack of communication. Dominique's attitude and the company's refusal to take responsibility demonstrate a complete lack of accountability and customer service. I've worked with many office providers over the years, and this is by far the worst customer experience I've ever had. If you're considering renting space here, be warned that once they have your payment information, getting real support or fair treatment is nearly impossible. If Spaces or Regus would like to keep me as a customer, I'm more than willing to speak with a different representative who can actually take ownership of these issues and work toward a real solution.

Terrible Customer Service, Unethical Billing & Possible Data Breach…read more I signed up for a co-working membership at Spaces Water Garden in December and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had with a company. Key Issues: Never received full access to the building: I was given one key on my first visit but was never provided the building key, despite multiple follow-ups and being told it was available. This made it impossible to access the space properly unless I walked through an unsafe parking garage. Ignored cancellation request: Due to an emergency, I requested to cancel my membership and was willing to pay for the time I actually used. Spaces ignored me for weeks, then refused to work with me at all. Unfair charges & refusal to accept payment: I sent a certified check for fair payment, which they falsely claimed was returned to sender--yet I have no record of it ever coming back to me. Meanwhile, they continue to charge me for services I could not use. Failure to communicate: I have sent dozens of emails and received little to no response. When I finally did get an answer, it was contradictory and dismissive. Potential Data Breach: At one point, Spaces accidentally sent an email with all client emails visible (instead of using BCC). This is a serious privacy violation and raises concerns about how they handle customer data. After months of trying to resolve this amicably, Spaces has chosen to threaten legal action instead of simply working with me like a reasonable business would. If you are considering using Spaces Water Garden or any Spaces location, be extremely cautious before signing a contract. Their lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and potential disregard for client data privacy make this a company I cannot recommend. Would NOT recommend Spaces to anyone.

I LOVE Spaces. It's not your typical co-working Space filled with freelancers that are networking,…read moreit's more of a joint office Space with established businesses with open Space to work in different areas of the building. I've worked at many co-working spaces including WeWork and Cross Campus and for me Spaces is my jam. Cross Campus feels like a freelancers campus to meet people (no privacy), WeWork feels more upscale creative and has successful freelancers who need desks, and Spaces is more for teams. 1. The Space - Beautiful, spacious and full of light. Located in the best area in Santa Monica, you can't beat the location. There are a lot of places to work on every floor. I will say the ergonomics aren't the best. The downstairs seating is awesome but the chairs aren't made for someone to sit in for long periods of time, they're more like cafe chairs. Someone made a review about the bathrooms being dirty, but I've NEVER experienced a dirty women's room... maybe the men's is different? The roof top is my favorite. I often book day offices and the sound is pretty bad. You can hear everything as the walls are windows and it feels awkward to talk on the phone without disturbing the office next to you. Pretty surprised that the offices would be designed with windows. It looks nice, but not ideal. Their cleaning crew is great. The place is pretty spotless. 2. The Staff - I love them, they feel like family. Professional, friendly, and attentive. June and Jhonny are the best and brighten up my day! I've been here for almost a year and I've seen a constant turn over in management. I've never really had any issues so I've never had to deal with management, but I have noticed the many changes. Every new hire is wonderful though, all so nice and hard working! 3. Amenities and perks - There is a very well priced cafe downstairs, a kitchen, and a garage to park your bike. I think compared to other co-working Spaces, the perks aren't that great. I've been to other co-working Spaces that provide snacks, kombucha, cold brew, tampons, happy hours, beer, random day treats, and etc... Again, Spaces Santa Monica is much more of an office Space. The kitchen is big, but the refrigerator is so small for the entire building. It's usually jam packed with food. The Wi-Fi is super fast and has never gone down on me. Outlets everywhere. 4. Other people - I'm a freelance creative and besides the staff, I haven't met many people that are similar to me. It's not really a social place which I like because I get more done, but sometimes it feels a bit too quiet. They once had a roof top happy hour which was nice because you got to know different people. Every floor has so many people and they're all strangers. I went to Spaces SF on Mission and it felt way way more social but in a good way, not too much. Regardless I'm happy it's not overly crowded. 5. Membership - Spaces is owned by Regis and what's wonderful is there are so many Regis all over the world. If you travel a lot, you can work just about anywhere. :) Suggestions: I think a couch or two might be nice and more private nooks. After going to Spaces SF, I saw what 2.0 Spaces is like and it's better. I think some added nooks and couches would be nice. Also a phone booth would awesome as quite calls are so important sometimes. There is one phone room and it echos and is loud because the door is a window. There are really awesome phone booth stands on the market that I think Spaces SM could benefit from, other co-working spaces have them. Also maybe some blankets, it gets cold sometimes.. but I can always bring my own. Overall I love Spaces and am so grateful it exists!

Every part of the way this place is run is unprofessional and unethical. From the start, I had flat out wrong and missing billing information invoiced to me every month, the numbers still never added up to what I was charged. My initial deposit and first months payment never showed up on my online statement, so when I tried to cancel my membership it came out that I owed THEM money.. even after having a retainer billed to me every two months. I was also charged a "restoration fee" upon closing my lease, which was never addressed when I was pitched and lied to about the fees associated with renting the office. It seems that happened to others and is standard business practice here. Also to note, any time I tried to address these billing discrepancies with anyone that worked there (if there was anyone there at all) they had no idea what I was talking about. There was no mentioned of 30 day cancel notice upon signing the lease (I guess it was on like page 7, article 2.3 of the lease agreement) and when I turned my keys in after I notified them I was canceling, THEY DIDN'T TELL ME I HAD 30 DAYS left. So they took my keys and rented it to someone else!! I would have just stayed in my office another 30 days. And they still charged me. When I tried to address this with Lauren Linville the sales manager, she told me anything after the initial deposit and months payment (the ones that randomly never showed up) wasn't her responsibility. This isn't even to talk about how the place is run - there was never anyone there to run the place, if there was it was a guy on personal phone calls the whole time, talking to his friends about "his vibe". There was construction on the floors above the entire time I was there (several months), which I was never told before signing my lease. The janitor also stole my sunglasses off my desk. All said, it's disgusting that a business like this - where people need office options in a post-Covid world - would be run this way. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy rent an office here. But hey, they totally got me! There is nothing for me to do but share my experience, I got got. From reading the other reviews here, this was all entirely their intention. We all got got - hats off!
