I had some light bruising, trouble standing straight, and debilitating stiffness in my lower back. She fosters a connection with me on the table to be able with conversation and personal anecdotes. At the same time, if I don't want to chat, silence prevails and an inner meditation takes over with the light music playing during the session. Initially, I needed her to really focus on the acute injury and not give a general massage. I am very grateful that she obliged. Her practice also extends beyond the table. Hanna encourages mindfulness while on the table. For me I was able to deeply connect with the massage following her words. She also showed me some stretches that greatly helped my back release. Coupled with some PT and chiropractic work, I'm feeling much better. I continue to go to Hanna, have recommended her to many, and will continue to book her for massages at least once a week.

There were some communication issues. First, the man directed me to a massage room. I declined and pointed to the chair. The chair massage was good, firm to the point of uncomfortable. When I was ready for the foot massage, a walk in appointment was in process so I was unable to get another service. I left somewhat disappointed. Also good thing I looked at myself in my car mirror as bits of the black foam from the chair were covering my face! Which also made me question best practices-no towel or covering on the massage chair. Just the black foam which crumbled on my face
