Three days prior to the wedding she had someone else text me that she couldn't make it due to a hip surgery, even though I talked to her a week prior and she acted like she would be there. I reached out to Heather to voice my concerns and she had an excuse for just about everything so I left it at that. Aside from the two photographers that did show up, were kind, and did a great job, the company's management style, including editing and album design felt depersonalized, half-assed and shady. For any couple looking to hire a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend asking to view the ENTIRE portfolio from any company's most recent wedding before making your decision to hire someone for this very important day. Her in-studio lesson was focused and fun and was geared towards filling in the holes in our understanding of basic photography. In the field, we had a great time going around to many beautiful locations inside New Orleans.
