Steve is patient and taught me that effective PT does not have to be extreme or painful (never going over a 4 out of 10) and gave me hope when I had none. His manner is quiet, kind, concerned and he tried different approaches to help with my long recovery. Steve gave me the knowledge and encourgagment I needed to reach my goal of playing pickleball pain free. I never thought I would be able to do normal activities of cooking, cleaning, lifting, sleeping and playing pickleball with no pain, but today, 10 months after my second surgery (16 months after the first failed one) I am pain free and am doing all regular activities. I picked this location because it had an appointment time that worked for me. Got there at my appointment time and once the nurse helped me through the entire process. I got to sit and eat a bag of salty snacks and drink water before I was checked in. Honestly, it took longer to check in and process the paperwork than it did to actually give blood. After that, they made sure I sat in the recovery part of the clinic and eat some recovery snacks before I was allowed to go. All throughout the process I was thanked left and right for making the appointment and coming in to donate blood. You can only donate blood a few times a year, so I will be making another appointment as soon as I can. I would encourage everyone to donate blood if they are eligible.

Made an online appointment at 1pm. Prior to going I completed the questionnaire in the app and off I went. Was a bit of a long drive drive, but was worth it since it's giving blood to help others...AND thank goodness for GPS. When I arrived I was third in line outside of the office. (COVID protocol), and was greeted warmly, was asked a set of questions, took my temperature and off to the waiting area after check in. Waited only a few minutes after reading the precautions before I went to get my hemoglobin tested. 8 minutes to draw my 450ml of blood and I was done. The staff were super friendly and great conversationalists and genuinely care. Glad I came to this location. Don't forget the best part...cookies, juices, snacks for recovery. I learned something new..they provide a sticker to stick onto you shirt to identify that you just gave blood should a first responder is required. Smart!!

The receptionist said no problem... but this wasn't correct. Instead of a relaxing experience I was given crazy barbaric acupressure all over my neck and then sent on my way. The pressure was not appropriate for treatment during pregnancy. I was made to to sit in a very awkward unsupported position throughout treatment. There was no care for comfort or efforts to calm the nervous system whatsoever... and I received no acupuncture at all. When I told him my age he also laughed and told me it was too late for me to be having a baby... not something I need to hear at 10 weeks pregnant. I spent $60 for 20 minutes and I feel worse than I did when I arrived. It's worth mentioning that I've had extensive acupuncture in four different countries including Taiwan and Thailand, and have never had such a poor experience.
