I do not remember the name of the employee who helped us but we were there on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 4pm (hoping this helps management to identify her). The woman who greeted us and checked us out was extremely pleasant and helpful, but not pushy, in explaining the current store offerings and the Wish List program for ornaments, as well as understanding our interests. I've been to many Hallmark stores and have never received the same kindness and friendliness she displayed - I was blown away! Thank you for an unexpected but wonderful experience! Please give this woman a raise!!

Recently stopped in, on a whim, while driving through the area. Used to stop at this one, years…read moreago, and it was wonderful. Just as clean, warm, and inviting as I remember. Maybe more so. I had been in the area to visit a friend, and had some time to kill. So I went in and walked around. Bought some shirts they had where the profits went to no-kill shelters for dogs, got a couple cups, some clearance rack ornaments from previous Christmases, a couple Tervis travel mugs, some cards, and a pretty glass window decoration. The shop is so well laid out and well lit, plus they were playing some fun music of kids singing Halloween/Thanksgiving stuff on their radio. The ladies working there offered to help me a couple times, despite there being a few other customers and them clearly getting ready for the Oct. ornament event, and they were extremely nice while I was checking out. When I told them my Hallmark card had broken and that I needed to use my phone number, the lady pulled up a number for me to call so I could get a replacement card. They also asked me if I had coupons or any punch cards, and they also asked if I wanted to try any of the samples they had out of the chocolates, teas, etc. that they sell there in the shop. It seemed more like a community goodie-shop rather than just another Hallmark shop- which is a good thing! And when I was leaving, I saw one of the clerks helping a woman with the door, since she was on a walker. The employee also offered to put the items the lady wanted, on the front counter, while the lady shopped so she wouldn't have to try to juggle the walker with a cart/basket/arm load of items. I thought it was very nice to see clerks being that observant and helpful. I will be stopping by Every Time that I visit, in the future.

She's wonderful, and I could readily see that she's put a lot of thought into the items she's curated. There's a small selection of local items, bespoke/one-of-a-kind clothing items as well as gift items such as bee's wax wraps, botanical oil, and lip balm. I highly recommend popping in, and I cannot wait until our next visit to the Davis area to see what new items are available and where Wendy's clothing making creative journey takes her!
