This happened a few days ago... Im still livid that that man would try to placate me over poisoning my child and even more so after me telling him my son is allergic and it in fact was not okay what so ever. There is literally nothing like it for many miles around this underserved recreational area for locals, cottagers, and tourists alike. Restaurant take out/patio food is excellent & creative. Bakery treats wonderful, and the small general store is well stocked with food items. Free WiFi is appreciated in a region without cell service, too.

My husband enjoyed his cheese burger, and we shared poutine. The poutine was especially delicious because of the flavorful gravy. I got some chicken fingers with buffalo sauce which was very tasty as well. I decided to try their ice coffee since there were so many flavor options. The salted caramel hit the spot - yum! We loved dining outdoors with our dog. Would definitely stop here again.

The service was not that good the one waitress was good the other one was ignorant. The fries were perfectly crispy and the chicken burger was quite big and the chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, perfect seasoning, the bun was perfectly toasted. If I do come in Algonquin I will come to this place again.
