Quincy Douglas branch library is one of my favorite places to go for Childrens story time with my families. They offer three well sized study rooms, lots of computers that you can use, and they have many events throughout the week. They have a phone that the public can use for free. I learned they have snacks for kids from 3 to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. I just love the children's librarian and Bri who offers a phenomenal story time Tuesdays at 10:30 AM. However 've gone many times for story time and it's canceled. This branch is not open on Mondays and so I have no way of really getting updates when things like this occur. In the last year I've gone five times for story time and three times it was canceled. Yesterday I was told I should check the Facebook page in the future, and story time is now only the first three weeks of the month. There's plenty of parking at Quincie Douglas Library. This one is fairly close to the Tucson marketplace. The closest Library to where I live generally has homeless people sort of meandering near the entrance and so this one feels a lot safer.

In addition they have a huge amount of resources such as books, maps, computers, 3D printing and other advanced technologies at your disposal. If your in a hurry, you can even check out laptops, tablets, camera's, GoPro's... fit up to 3 days! The library has a mix of compact automatic shelving and traditional stacks for you to search through as well! The Main library is currently under total renovations to brighten up and update the space to make the library experience even better than it already is! I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Firstly, they have a great computer room for those who need to access computer services. Secondly, while this is not a typical branch where you can go and browse a large selection of books/media, it is a great hub for making media reservations with the library system online and having them shipped to this branch for pickup. Thirdly, this library has flyers and information about community events and public health information and is valuable to our hyperlocal neighborhood! I was also able to pick up covid tests for our household here, and the librarians helped me to connect mine and my husband's library card accounts so we can pick up each other's library materials for the other!

Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, very helpful and full of resources. I stopped in to obtain some Heritage seeds for my garden! They have an amazing variety of seeds that are native to our area. Mexican Sunflower seeds were highlighted today but probably more than 50 seed varieties are available for you to checkout. All you need is a library card. Don't have one? Stop at the front desk and they can issue one! Support your local library and see what else they can do for you!

There is a nice-sized library of resources organized by country and state and several computer stations where you can search free and subscription sites beyond Ancestry.com. There's also, a large darkened area for viewing microfiche records ordered from the mother-lode (housed at the Salt Lake City Family History Center headquarters) and a library-style table for browsing. They even offer courses for newbie-genies. Best of all, you don't have to be Mormon to dig into your own fascinating family history -- just interested.

I was put on hold and decided to call a different number in Utah ( first was in AZ) and they answered right away, helped me for over 20 minutes and resolved my problem. When I went back to the first call, I was still on hold. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
