I…read morehad easily scheduled my appointment online through the Allegheny County Health Department, and when I arrived at the municipal building in Ross, the employees directed me on where to go. Many residents had shown up to receive a vaccine, but the employees followed a refined process of registering me, vaccinating me, scheduling my second dose, and monitoring me for any side effects. All employees were kind, although two seemed slightly confused about the process, such as when one employee tried to get me to skip the line without an important paper. Sufficient parking spaces were outside. According to the Ross Municipal Center Park's website, they also have a basketball court, indoor recreational center, pavilion, and playground, and they offer fitness classes such as yoga for a fee. I am sure that more programs will become available after the pandemic is under control.

I have never lived in such an unfriendly dog community. Cranberry has gorgeous parks and impeccably taken care of but, you are not allowed to walk your dog in any of the parks. As a matter of fact they have signs all over that say no pets, or no dogs!! There is one park that has an off leash area. And we all know how unhealthy off leash areas are for dogs. If you are a dog lover and like to socialize with other dog lovers. Don't move to Cranberry Township!!

They have a ton of great programming for all ages year round, but really beef it up in the summer months with their summer reading. They also tend to offer a reading program in the winter months which is a great incentive for both kids and adults! The children's room is packed with a wide variety of everything from board books to graphic novels and even Nintendo Switch games! They have some toys available for free play along with some STEM related activities. It is bright and cheery and a great place to spend time with your kids. The adult side of the library is well stocked and has a great variety of materials to browse. I like that they have a display of new items but also that they have "features" in the various sections as well. They also have several computers that you can use as well. There is free, ample parking available right outside the building. A wonderful library worth visiting and spending some time at!
