I got the spare on then started calling tire places to replace all 4 tires (they needed it). It was about 430 pm, everywhere said they were closing at 5 so couldn't do it. Rocky Island said get the car there and they would wait around. We rolled in right at 5, when they should have all been going home, they pounced on the car like an F1 team. They were excellent on price, super nice, and really helped us out of a bind, as I was on a space saver tire that would not have got us home and we would have had to find accommodation until the next day. Despite living in Toronto, next time I need tires I am driving back up to Bracebridge to this place.

I had a problem…read morewith my transmission cooler leaking on my Lincoln LS and OK Tire took it in and replaced the part, tighten hoses, and refill my tranny fluid while many other mechanics from Espanola, Sudbury and in between refused to help me because they 'don't have the tools'. The problem was that those other mechanics were too afraid to think. OK Tire got the job done and done right.

My bad in delaying this review because I have now misplaced the card of the owner and have forgotten the names of the people who helped us. The owner was beyond helpful, letting us drop our tire off after they had officially closed and giving us a ridiculously low cost to have it fixed. He was also so pleasant while he waited for us to finally pull the tire out of our trunk (we were on our way to camp and had all the items associated with doing so) Our pickup and check out wasn't nearly as smooth with the employee at the counter trying to tell us he would have to charge us for use of a jack and that they didn't have the man power to offer us use of one until 2 days from the Sunday we wanted to leave (our jack was broken). Fortunately, another employee working in the garage overheard and offered to help us without us having to ask and at zero charge So, one guy was a dick but the other two people we met were A-Okay (tire) and I highly recommend if you are in the area and need some rim work

They didn't charge us much for the new tires and came back to us before we expected the job to be done, telling us that the wheels were already in the trunk of our SUV. Once they didn't even charge us on replacing a valve stem on a UTV tire (but that was after we had already had some work done with them so don't go asking for free work...). The staff there were helpful and jovial (rascally actually), a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend them to anyone.

At first when I got it back the problem seemed fixed but then it got worse and had to be boosted every time I had to start it. I called them and they immediately took my car back in. They have been great and worked with me when it came to the costs as I am a single mom with very little extra money for these types of expenses. I used to go to a different shop but I will now only go here as I did not feel like they treated me like I was stupid or like they could take advantage of the fact I do not know much about cars.
