Let me start with this.. This place is amazing, they are so helpful and willing to take the time to explain were a alcohol is from and how the company produces it. My wife and I came to Canyon lake for our honeymoon, I told my wife I was on the look out for a good liquor store in the area near our Airbnb..Then I found Whiskey Business. I didn't know what I was looking for but when I saw the bottle of Weller Special Reserve, I know that's what I wanted, I was also talked into a bottle of Penelope by the owner and I also got a bottle of the Maverick Barrel Proof store pick for my brother. Nope, will not return here. Barely a mumble from store employee after entering their store that was empty of patrons. I remember coming here at their Grand Opening and they were a lot more enthusiastic about their customers. Hopefully, they will find better help soon. read more

I waked into this store not expecting much. Boy, was I wrong. He has a really good selection of bourbon. I walked out with a bottle that I've never seen on any other shelf, anywhere else. They have a good selection but they are kinda pricey. Perfect if you just need a bottle but not if you're looking to restock several items.

Selection is ok not great, service is ok, however , these days most do not carry cash and to be up charged for using a debit card to pay for the CC service is a joke, and pay attention to the amount almost 4% of the total, I am thinking another way to profit a little at a time. These fine people are truly locally owned and operated. They know the people and the area very well....because they live here. They have more selection under one roof than anyone at the lake. Given that knowledge, they are just as knowledgeable about every single bottle in that store. Price? Don't waste your time anywhere else. Prices are marked to compete. Tried to check if they carried the new Fireball Party Bucket and what was the price. All they would tell me was that they did carry it. They refused to tell me the price over the phone. I think that is very poor service. I guess they don't need my business. I will never go there after this experience. read more
