They don't how to mix drinks so buy only straight. Old stinky environment. Good vibes. Many items on display to watch and buy. Cool people.

Located at the downtown Prescott, it feels like travelled back to old west time. Plenty of bars for bar hopping. I really liked the swing doors as seen on old west movies. They also have lots of shops selling cow boys stuff, fun place to walk around. Price on goods were fair. I didn't find much of great deals here. If you plan on drinking, stay at a hotel within a walking distance from here to fully enjoy old west feeling

Fun area to walk around, but we came on week days and discovered a majority of the shops close by 6pm We promised the kids ice cream one night and had saw an ice cream/treat place during the day but when we went at 630 (after dinner) found it to be closed We are hoping to come back and visit the saloons when we don't have our children with us We did enjoy the old structures and history to read about. The painted walls made for a fun photo op too.

We have been coming here for several years and it never seems to disappoint us! They have some of the biggest chicken tenders I've ever had my eyes on, four fingers big! They have an amazing selection of craft beers to choose from. The bartender are very rare to find one that can make a true black & tan and they can make them! This is a very relaxing environment with lots of cool decorations and history. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking them out! A special shout out to our waitress who was very accommodating and funny! She was fast and made sure we had a great time. This place really does have down home values. Thank you, we will definitely be back again for more southern hospitality. PS: The onion rings are to die for!

Great food and Alli was an awesome waitress! We've never run across a restaurant that served our favorite tipple, Angel's Envy Rye. Would definitely return the next time we're in Gilbert, and would ask to be seated in Alli's section.

YELP mods mistakenly moved this review of Historic Whiskey Row over to The Whiskey Row Pub listing. They have done the reverse for other reviews, too. "The Row's" address is not 144 S. Montezuma either. No matter how many corrections I submit, YELP mods won't correct any of these problems; I am reposting and hoping my review stays. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I am a "local" who has been a regular on Whiskey Row for decades. Heck, my kids are all musicians, and I got them used to making extra money by busking* on The Row for tourists. (*performing in public for tips) So, I have an important message for all you lovely out-of-towners reading Yelp, and getting ready to write reviews: --WHISKEY ROW IS A STREET - IT IS NOT A BUSINESS.-- People, people, people! "Whiskey Row" is the nickname for a "Local Color" district (a YELP term) --like Chinatown in San Francisco or Times Square in New York-- made up of all sorts of businesses. According to Wikipedia: "Whiskey Row is a block in Prescott, Arizona, which today exists on Montezuma Street between Goodwin and Gurley Streets, although it did spill over onto adjacent streets from time to time." Technically, it is the west side of Montezuma, as the east side of the street is the Courthouse Plaza. To us locals who spend time on the row, the bars just north of Gurley and south of Goodwin are often included on "Whiskey Row." Sometimes we'll refer to those areas, within block or so, as "the North Row" or "the South Row." I am simply cracking up at the reviews posted for some experience that a tourist had at some unnamed business, that are now being attributed to a street. LOL! Such naivety brings joy to my heart! I LOVE WHISKEY ROW. I love the buildings. The history. The bars. The Row regulars. The colorful townies. The musicians. The bartenders. The locals. The art galleries. The jewelry stores. The shops. The shop workers. Most of the shop owners. The cowboys. The faux bikers. The rainbow people. The travelers. The dog walkers. And even the sophisticated tourists who can't be bothered to pay attention to the ever-so-common "CASH ONLY" signs in the bars . Whiskey Row is fantastic and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Now let's make sure we are all clear about one thing: "Whiskey Row" never provided anyone with wings or fried pickles or a beer. So, please, don't give Montezuma Street a 1 star review. Please? ;) - - - I you feel this review is Useful, Funny, or Cool, please check the boxes below. :) Thanks!

Whiskey Row is a fun stop if you are up in Prescott. It's located on Montezuma, one of the four streets that border the Court House area. About a year ago, there was a terrible fire and most of the turn of the last century buildings burned down. History tells us the same thing happened 110 years ago. Well, Whiskey Row is back and a better than ever. The street is now made up of Art galleries and yes -- saloons and biker bars. But since we were up here for the 10th Annual "Whiskey Off-Road Bike Race, it was a different sort of biker. LOL Enjoy!

Whiskey Row is a blast! (the wild west lives on) There are about 20 bars in the general downtown Prescott, AZ area, and about 10 in a row on one block... Amazing little pubs which all feature live bands on the weekends with NO COVER. Drinks are cheap and the crowd is fun (half locals and half tourists). I love this place - It's perfect for a one or two day getaway. Stay in a local hotel downtown (St. Michael or Hotel Vendome) and go nutts!!! About 1 1/2 hr drive from Phoenix. http://www.birdcagesaloon.com/ http://www.mattssaloon.com/home.htm http://www.whiskeyrow.us/jerseylilly/jerseylilly.html http://www.hooligansirishpub.com/ http://www.historicpalace.com/html/history.htm http://www.google.com/search?q=prescott+az+bars&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=com.ubuntu:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

One of the fun bars ironically as they call it on Whiskey Row period has been around for many many years has a good mix of locals and tourists. They pour nice drinks and have a good selection of liquor. I prefer a few other spots right on Whiskey Row but they're all right next to each other so you can definitely check them all out and see which one you like the best. Attentive friendly service and not overpriced.

One big grouping of antique shops, boutiques, and bars!!!!!! Get that small town feel just an hour and a half from Phoenix. Btw 10 degrees cooler! I'm a big fan of some antiquing during the day- loving the quality of pottery, mid century modern, and jewelry. Many great custom jewelers and galleries in the whiskey row area. I know they have a ton of events from a bluegrass festival, rodeo week, and a Veterans Day parade nearby.

Fun group of bars/clubs to check out if you're ever in Prescott, AZ. When you get bored of one place just walk next door to the next bar

With a craving for pizza we found this place through a map search for restaurants as possible…read more The place is quaint with a Southwest ambiance. It was full of patrons for dinner and we were seated right away in a cozy booth. Strangely the table was far short of the seating. The menu is broad with all the typical Italian selections. We put in our drink order and I had a Argentine Malbec. It was rich and delicious. We started with an appetizer of Arancini. These traditional fried rice balls were huge, two of them. Mixed with peas and other tasty ingredients, the exterior were nice and crunchy. Cooked perfectly they were delicious with a cup of Marinara to pour over them. The pizza we ordered was the 18" Mediteraneo with grilled chicken, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and a pesto sauce. The 18" was very adequate sized for four hungry people with some left over. The pizza was good yet a bit off in that the cheese overpowered everything else. I do not recall eating any chicken or tasting the pesto. The ricotta seemed to be a unique ingredient yet it doesn't seem to set properly as if it was applied frozen (?) The service was extroadinary, so friendly and accommodating. The only mistep which is probably a kitchen problem is we waited and waited for the appetizer. When it finally arrived the pizza arrived literally right on top of it with not enough room on the table. I'd return to try some of their other Italian offerings.

LaBruzza's is a hole-in-the-wall family run restaurant that is located in a very unexpected place. I mean if you don't know, you won't know!!! It's off a busy street, but next to a body shop in a not so kept-up parking lot. The outside is nothing to write home about, but the inside is rather quaint and what you would expect from an Italian restaurant (red and white checkered tablecloths, dark lighting, and random autographed photos of previous customers). We were told there is usually a wait, but we happened to go on a good day, because we arrived at 5PM and were seated almost immediately. We were a party of three and were seated at a somewhat tight-fitting booth, but with a little moving of the table, it worked! A house salad with creamy Italian dressing and a small loaf of bread were brought to the table soon after we sat and in addition to the menus, a large whiteboard with daily specials was brought out and placed before us. There were many dishes to choose from, but I think we all made our selections rather quickly. My husband ordered off the specials menu and got the 1/2 Parmesan Chicken and 1/2 ShrimpAlfredo. He really enjoyed both! Our friend who actually reminded us of this place, ordered the Cajun Shrimp. His dish was very well served and looked delicious. He said it was the best meal he has ever eaten at LaBruzza's! As for myself, I had to try the lasagna, which comes served with a meatball on the side, but I always have to try the Italian sausage and so I ordered a side and it actually came with two! I basically ordered way too much food, but it was worth it! My lasagna was so good. The sauce was perfect and the Italian sausages were spicy just how I like them. Unfortunately, I think I was full from the salad and bread alone, but I did get to take home my leftovers for the next day. YUM! The service was quite pleasant. Our server was very attentive and other staff kept our table cleared from dirty dishes and kept water glasses full. It is a very casual place and I imagine it can probably get a bit noisy. We just happened to be there on a non-busy evening (World Cup was on) and noise level was average for the amount of patrons. Prices are pretty average with seafood items being a bit more costly, which is not uncommon. I think the best part is that you can bring your own bottle of wine and they provide the glasses and corkscrew! This is so far the best Italian food that we have had since moving to the area. We will definitely be back!

Warm bread, garlic butter and a salad are brought out to start. The butter is very good. We ordered chicken Marsala and porcini mushroom ravioli in garlic and olive oil sauce.
