The fresh raspberries were so tasty and fun to pick. The blackberries were minimal on my visit but those that I found were good and flavorful. Not sure of organic, but all berries were pesticide free and oh so tasty. They have roaming chickens in the fields and they were pretty friendly/annoying you as you pick :) Farmer Mike was super friendly and welcoming to his farm. Note that they have Isham Farms on both sides of the road. The berries are up the driveway by the Sugar Shack were they make maple syrup in March/April of each year.

The bride and groom were allowed to bring in all of their own food and beverages, which made for a low-key, easy event. The wedding day included wagon rides through the fields - and another full, fun evening. I can't speak to whether the food and service are recommended/provided through the farm but it was a wonderful, tasty, family-style meal; and, the bartenders and other servers were friendly and fast. Farmer Mike himself is a also very friendly and clearly proud of his beautiful property. Oh, and his berries, honey, and syrup are all some of the best I've had. Overall, I would highly recommend Isham for DIY berry picking with the family or the entire property for an event.

Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming...including the adorable orchard pup! Friendly staff, scenic views of the rolling hills, and rows of vibrant apple trees that stretch as far as you can see. We picked both Empire and McIntosh apples, and they were crisp, juicy, and perfectly ripe. After picking, we stopped by the barn and bought some Honey Crisp apples to take home, they were just as amazing. The barn also had a great local feel, with fresh cider, jams, and other Vermont-made goodies available. The highlight of the day had to be the fresh cider doughnuts; warm, soft, and coated in cinnamon sugar paired with cold apple cider. To make it even better, there was a live band playing outside, creating such a fun and festive atmosphere. Families were laughing, kids were playing, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the beautiful fall warm day. This was truly a great fall event and the perfect way to spend a weekend in Vermont. Between the beautiful scenery, great music, and delicious apples, we couldn't have asked for a better first visit. We'll definitely be making this an annual tradition!

In the summer, they give free hayrides during the Clinton County Fair. Mary the horse is very sweet and the cows and goats will also say hello! In the fall you can pick gorgeous sunflowers and take pictures in the fields. During Halloweekend you can go through the corn mazes and pick out your favorite pumpkin. This place is perfect for families too, the children can visit the petting zoo where the pigs, donkeys, goats roam free in the fences. You can actually walk into their gates and play with them. We loved meeting the baby goat, Loco and her mother Coco! The pigs love their belly rubs and will fall over when scratching them! It's very cute. Many of the things to do here are free so great value! They sell local apples, gifts and fun things in their gift shop too. Supporting the local farms in town is great for the community here. This is one of my favorite local farms to visit in town!

We hiked our way up to the farm to catch the milking demonstration, very educational for youngsters. Staff at the farm were easy to talk to and kind to answering questions about the process of taking care of the animals on the farm. It was later in the day so we were catching mostly all the last parts of their demonstrations. If you don't mind a bit of a hike and the smell of the farm it's for you. I think it's worth an experience for younger generations for sure. Speaking of that, they also had an area in the chicken coop with toys to play with and books to read for young children. Growing up on a chicken farm helped me learn a lot about work ethic and how much we need farmers in our country the further we get into the future and have many rights of self-sustaining capabilities taken away from us through the government and big business push. Fun to see and pet their cows plus the big Farm Barn, where the independent organic O Bread Bakery* and Beeken/Parsons furniture maker both operate. (* See separate review.)
