Had a senior moment packing for a trip and needed to get scrub pants the same day to start work. Saved by this store which opens at 8 in the morning. Store is not big but found the odd size I needed with the help of friendly and helpful employees. People who work here are indeed North Dakota nice. On top of that, I got a 20% discount because I happened to have my hospital employee ID with me. Can't beat that. read more

We offer an assortment of comfortable, functional, and fashionable uniforms for the medical field at reasonable prices. We also offer shoes to protect your feet and provide ample support during long shifts. Along with scrub uniforms, we offer a wide range of chef uniforms in store to fit a We are also expanding to uniform hospitals beyond scrubs, as well as chiropractors, dental offices, veterinary clinics, and even hotels. We also have a variety of uniform desires in the kitchen.

History

Established in 1940.

Purchased by Eleanor English in 1961, who moved it to the store downtown in 1980, well-known for its classic vintage sign on Broadway. Her daughter, Mary English Luistro, purchased the business from her in the early 2000s. In June 2015, the Veteran's Boulevard opened, with the strategy of being close to the new Sanford hospital and providing more parking. In 2017, Luistro English sold White Banner Uniforms to Scott Mehlaff, the owner of Trademark Uniforms in Sioux Falls, making it a division of Trademark Uniforms.

Savers? More like gougers…read more.... Books were spendy and inconsistent as all get out. Saw 3 copies of the same Heathcliff book all with different price stickers on them. Spent a good hour in the store and the staff working were doing nothing, not a thing. They had BOXES of donated goods by the picture frames just begging to be put out but no, everyone was "too busy". The "sanitation" girl was at entrance playing on her phone, not even acknowledging you as you walk in and not cleaning the carts and such. They had two cashiers who looked like that wanted to work, made eye contact and said hello but were basically being "occupied" by the very loud short haired store manager who was complaining about other employees and customers so loudly that you could hear her in the back of the store. Talk about an awkward place to shop......

I think I dropped of 25+ loads of donations over the course of two weeks. We were moving out of…read morestate, and had to clear out all the old, unused; and sad to say, new and unused items. Each time I was greeted with a smile, asked how I was doing and help brining the items from the car to the drop off bins. Never a quibble. Never said, ' we don't take that.' Never seen higher prices at my favorite store.....
