I can honestly say this was the best food I've ever had at a wedding -- and I've been to a lot of weddings! We were so fortunate to have White Bull Café cater our daughter Tamber's wedding to her new husband Jack. Chef Sam Ictay went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only was the food absolutely incredible -- from the main meal to the cakes and midnight lunch -- but Sam and his team also looked after bartending and so many little details that made the day seamless. He was friendly, professional, and made every guest feel welcome and taken care of. What stood out most was Sam's generosity with his time and experience. He shared invaluable advice with the bride and groom, helping them navigate the day with confidence. His support played a big role in making the wedding truly unforgettable. Knowing Sam personally, as I had the pleasure of building his home, made this even more meaningful -- but I would recommend White Bull Café to anyone, hands down. I've never had a bad experience at the white bull. The waitresses are super friendly, Sam the owner is super sweet. The food is AMAZING and generous portions. My mom is from Ontario and everytime she comes to visit we go because she says this is the only place that makes a tender and delicious liver and onions. She is old school, everything made from scratch. She knows a good meal. We will always continue to come to the White Bull. read more

The outside of White Bull Cafe is very neat and the whole theme of the place is great, including a front of an old car on the wall and a juke box and a few more items around. I decided to go with the grilled cheese, it's kind of my thing to order that at restaurants, the presentation of the dish was very well put and the way the cheese mixed with the perfectly buttered bread tasted amazing and will make your mouth water. Along with the grilled cheese I also ordered fries which were some of the best fries I've ever had, and the grilled cheese mixes good with the ketchup which is something I always consider when reviewing grilled cheese. The food along with the customer service is very exquisite I definitely recommend. It is a 10/10 in my book. read more

I'd love to give a 5 Star just because all of their food is amazing, but food only carries you so far. You need the staff to carry out the good food and make sure the customer is happy with the food and doesn't need anything else. Lately that factor has been missing from the White Bull. Again, delicious food, staff that gives a damn needed. Our son's hockey team had a tournament in Evansburg, but we stayed in Drayton Valley. We came in on a Saturday morning for brunch, The restaurant had a special for a potato pancake plate, covered with bacon, sour cream and green onions, and two eggs. That sounded really appealing, so I ordered it. Wasn't anything that overwhelmed me. While the portion was large, it just looked like they had taken shredded potatoes and lightly cooked them on the flat top. Didn't have the consistency of a potato pancake or a latke. The other meals we ordered for the table were edible but nothing spectacular. The volume of food might have justified the pricing, but certainly not the flavour or originality. read more

First time here Perfect booth size in and out! Very obliging for us with the "menu item" with out "that". All three of us. Very new looking seems recently upgraded! Egg Benny was tasty. The French toast was good and the egg scramble without one egg! Was enough for breakfast tomorrow. read more

This is my go-to lunch spot when in Drayton Valley. Meals are simple, hearty, balanced, and mostly made from scratch (or at least their delicious mashed potatoes taste as if they are). They have electrical outlets located at many booths, which is great for somebody whose laptop battery doesn't have much juice and needs to work through lunch. This is a popular spot and I almost always get the $10 Blue Plate special. I would eat here weekly if it were located near my house in Edmonton. read more
