    Breakfast skillet

Little harder to find but lots of great parking once you squeeze your way past the awkward Tim Hortons drive-through line. Lots of spread out seating made it feel roomy. No line to get seated on a Saturday morning was a bonus too. The breakfast skillet was as advertised, nothing too exciting but well made and a decent portion for the price. The Tocilog was a bit strange for breakfast but I had to try it! The marinated pork was AMAZING. Definitely the best I've ever had. Juicy, flavorful, tender, not all fatty. I just wish I got more! The garlic rice was a nice change that I also enjoyed. The vegetables were nice and fresh with a ?balsamic dressing on the side. I asked for the egg well done and it was perfect. Other than wishing I had more meat there was good portions. Single person bathrooms were clean but the girls was out of paper towel. Staff were friendly but looked very busy and rushed. But our water glasses never went empty. Not sure if our bill was forgotten or they wanted to give us time but we were done eating and waiting for the bill for a good 15 extra minutes. Overall a great, well priced breakfast choice. I will be back to try the Longsilog and Tapsilog!

    Banana Bread French Toast

This new to Stony restaurant used to be a Vietnamese restaurant and I believe the owners are the same. The decor suits the local farm to table theme, but is a little sparse. The service was friendly and quick. I had the banana bread french toast and the portion was huge. I loved the banana brulée on top. My partner's eggs benedict wasn't amazing. The potatoes didn't have any spice or flavour. They used French bread instead of English muffins, which was a welcome touch.

Had the double with all the toppings, no extras. My friends had a single and a triple. Service was fast and friendly. Burgers were fantastic, fries and milkshakes were terrific too. The restaurants is beside 2 breweries so the vibe on the street was amazing. Highly recommend!

Drinks: Slam-O-Nade: 9/10, flavor was great, could have been more sour. Love that they add a touch of slush on top! Wild Peach Pie: boyfriend disliked but I thought it was delicious and give it a 9/10. Cherry Pie cocktail: 9/10, great flavor, would get again. Double flatty: 10/10, great flavor, great bun, great meat flavor and moist. Poutine: sadly I hated the gravy but boyfriend liked it. Fries underneath were super crisp and yummy. Next time I'd like to try the fries with "dip". Pickle: boyfriend loved. Great crunch considered the size. Mini key lime pie: 10/10. Crust and filling were both great. A little too much for 1 person post-meal but great size to share and available for takeout too. Milkshake: 10/10 so authentic, creamy, coffee flavor wasn't very strong. Loved that you could see them use the cool milkshake cups, add soft serve, blend.

Really good quality burgers for a great price. It's that simple, which is why Let's Smash is my…read morefavourite Edmonton burger stop. Burgers are made fresh and smashed just right, not too thin that they crumble at the edges or fall apart in the bun. All burgers are two patty minimum. The most basic burger costs $12, and comes with cheese and a ton of fresh veggie and traditional toppings. A burger combo is $17 and includes a drink. Upgrade to a poutine or a milkshake for a couple of bucks. Their fries are really good, chunky and made fresh. Haven't tried the milkshakes. Proper old-school burger joint food. Compare with fast food and other small local burger places. A quarter pounder at McD's costs $8 these days, crazy. At places like Woodshed or Foxburger, you can't get just a burger, and prices start at $14 (single patty no cheese) or even $20. Drinks are extra. I love these local burger places too, but the burger quality is similar in my opinion, and I really like the style of burger served here. Let's Smash has the Goldilocks "just right" kind of smash, the burger buns hold up to the contents, and the toppings are fresh and flavourful though not as fancy as other places. One time though, I had a burger here that was topped with gyro toppings, specifically the pickled veggies, and it was delicious. We always sit in, there's plenty of seating space, and usually some soccer or European music contests on the TV at a low volume. Service is efficient, order at the counter and have a seat. No alcohol service means less trouble, which is nice for lunch or early supper on Jasper Ave. We generally get friendly service and have never felt forgotten or neglected for the steady stream of delivery drivers.

Delicious burger! Served with fries. Was prepared in 7 minutes. The ambiance is pop music.read more
