They moved the rental car facility from across the street, to a new parking garage where you have to walk four or five times as far to get to it. The signage was lacking and I had to ask for directions twice to find it. I hope they will change it back to where it was across the street, as the new setup is ill-considered and planned.

Onsite car rentals from Enterprise/National. No lounge, no onsite restaurant, very limited seating, but the pre-security waiting area is very lounge-like with premium furnishings. With only 2 daily arrival/departures between MBL/ORD, it is quite limiting, but if Chicago is your destination, this is a viable option. Contour doesn't have stellar on time performance so if you're connecting through ORD after arriving, I advise taking the early flight and giving yourself a lot of time for the layover. Not the airport's fault but be aware.

Sometimes I would find a direct flight from DCA at a reasonable price if I can't get a flight into GRR. The only thing about the location is there are not any restaurants besides a McDonald's. You would have to drive towards the Lansing mall. I don't think there are any hotels nearby either.

I said I'd never return but after attending an event this past week for the Lansing Chamber of Commerce and meeting CEO Nicole Noll-Williams, I figured I'd give it another chance. Today was a completely different experience and I'm so impressed with the new changes that have been implemented. The staff is MUCH more kind, the TSA check in process is much more efficient and up to date with the newest technology, and there are a lot more amenities than before. While there's still a long way to go, I am highly impressed and can say even the energy is much lighter, making my travel a lot less stressful. I look forward to seeing the growth! I've been noticing the marketing efforts and internal adjustment am so glad they're bringing about positive change! Go Lansing!
