At the check-in desk, the receptionist provided a token for a free appetizer from the on-site restaurant, and there was a basket of complimentary cookies for guests! My room seemed more renovated than the photos of the hotel rooms online, which was a pleasant surprise, and was extremely comfortable. The TV had the option to cast from your personal device, so you are able to stream Netflix/YouTube from the big screen! I had no issues with the wifi during my stay. There was also a black-out blind which helped since the sun does set until after 9pm here! The location was also extremely convenient located on Main St - walking distance to downtown (1 mile), and just a short drive to Fremont Lake Park. The restaurant is open weekdays starting at 4pm, and has weekly specials. You can choose to eat at a table in the restaurant, or order to-go and have your meal delivered straight to your room. The continental breakfast buffet runs from 6-9am and is stocked with fresh fruit, an array of bagels/english muffins, and even an automatic pancake machine!

We had a gorgeous view and enjoyed nightly bonfires. We rented kayaks, fishing, and rented a golf cart. The kids loved getting ice cream everyday. The beach was great for kids, not too deep and even the little kids could jump off the dock. The owners were so accommodating and helpful with everything. They even gave us some of their own personal coffee filters because we forgot ours. They showed us the prettiest places to take the kayaks and were so kind. They did everything they could to make the whole experience perfect! We will definitely be back!

The yard alone would make me consider coming back and giving the place another visit. The home itself is incredibly spacious, especially for a solo traveler. I spent most of my stay alone in the house and primarily used the larger of the two kitchens. Because the kitchen is so large and has many cabinets and drawers, it took some time to figure out where everything was. A few simple labels for items like silverware, mugs, and plates would make things much easier for guests. I also think a few extra kitchen essentials such as paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, zip-top bags, or plastic wrap would be helpful additions for longer stays. I did appreciate having access to frozen packs in the freezer for my lunches, and there was some food available during my stay as well. Communication was probably the biggest challenge for me. I never actually met the hosts during my visit, and I had difficulty getting responses to emails while I was there. For example, I had trouble adjusting the temperature in my room and wasn't able to get assistance when I reached out. There was also mention of a mini fridge being added to my room, but it wasn't there upon arrival. None of these issues ruined the trip, but clearer communication and follow-through would definitely improve the guest experience. The home appeared clean overall, though I did notice some dust and hair inside cabinets, closets, and under furniture that may have been overlooked during cleaning. Despite a few frustrations, I really enjoyed the outdoor space and appreciated the pet-friendly environment. With a few small improvements to communication, organization, and attention to detail, this could be an even better experience for future guests.

A noise machine, comfy pillows and sheets...all the details were rights I also love the quiet little street where you can walk and find several restaurants, some great food and beer close by. Only antena, no cable etc. The room was a hot tub room with lake view 250.00, very old carpet , drop ceiling, and what they called a hot tub was a jacuzzi tub with six Jets. Very Old. No coffee pot, no frig no microwave and you can not buy a pop and there is no ice. Dinner was included and dinner was fish sticks, what looked like boiled chicken in a red sauce and what they called meat loaf with instant potatoes, canned gravey, canned green beans and canned corn with dried out dinner rolls. We tried to eat it was so bad we went back to our room picked up our luggage and left. I'm sorry this was place is not worth even 10 min of your time.

There is hiking trails, fishing, swimming, boat launch and much more to do close to the Motel. Downtown isn't far from the motel along with good restaurants. The owners were easy to locate and were very knowledgeable of the various sites around the area and seemed to know all the activities that were going in town at the time. Fan and a separate split in the loft. I'm able to prep dinner for the boat in the spacious kitchen. There is a keurig for coffee but I asked for a full size pot. My older in-laws drink coffee all day and I brought filters and Folgers. They were able to dig up a 4 cup maker for us! I can't believe how amazing this place is for the cost. Highly recommended.
