This place was fun, i went by myself on a friday where i got off of work early. I went to the story but the beer place that sells growlers (tiny town and trenton) and i was pleasantly surprised. I wish i could actually have made the pottery piece that i painted (false advertising, i think) but that's ok. On Wednesdays they have a military appreciation day where you don't pay $6. Anyways, i picked up a sea shell jewelry box, $15, and painted it for about an hour to an hour in a half with little to no distractions or bothering from the employees. I was kind of annoyed that i had to keep getting up and asking for more paint like a child but i understand. There are a lot of children that go there with their parents and if they were to give me the paint tube, they might think i'd abuse it. So i paid about $23 in total on that Friday, because i didn't go to the Wednesday special, but all and all it was a good time. I'd go there for a date :) it's cute and it gives you time to think and chat if you bring a friend.

We were immediately spoken to rudely, even to the point where the worker said herself, "I'm being snarky" and covered her mouth. I would say something like, "oh extra charge is okay!" And she'd said, "it doesn't matter if it's okay with you I'm going to do it anyway." She made comments about other visitors and how annoying they were. We were absolutely gobsmacked by the way she spoke to all visitors, especially those with children. She loudly shared she was tired and exhausted of kids because she has to watch a two year old grand kid at home. She even came by my table and one point and without asking began to touch my wet design. As an avid painter, I will be spending my money on other pottery locations in Clarksville. This is quite sad, as the other worker was SO kind. But the unprofessional and rude voice was much louder than any service we received.

Visited Consignment World today for the second time in a few years…read more My in-laws vacation in Kentucky every summer, so we always hit the antique and consignment shops during our trip. After visiting three other antique stores in Cadiz on Labor Day, we had the most luck here. Consignment World sells antiques, more modern items, new and handmade items. Individuals rent their own booth space and can fill them with whatever merchandise they want. Store is quite large; primarily clothing in the front and housewares, home decor, toys, artwork, collectibles and furniture in the back half of the store. I spent about $40 on several things---mostly vintage/modern items that will make great gifts this upcoming holiday season. I even scored a great deal on macrame cord. We were here for at least an hour and could have stayed longer---didn't even make it to the clothing area. Vendors set their own prices and I found them to be really reasonable. Super friendly staff. You can easily social distance in the store. Highly recommend!
