Our 3bd, 3ba unit was in a great location! It's an end unit with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains and golf course. Staff was friendly and helpful during check-in. Our unit was clean and well stocked. As with most timeshares, they leave enough supplies to get you started for the week. Our unit has a washer and dryer, and full kitchen. This unit is great if you bring friends or family with you as it has an attached studio suite with its own kitchen and full bathroom. The beds are comfortable and linens nice quality. The grounds here are gorgeous and well kept. This resort offers many amenities including golf, outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, recreation room, fitness room, playground, and restaurant. They also have many bighorn sheep walking around. We're looking forward to exploring this beautiful area. Lake Louise and Banff National Park is about 1.5 hours drive. Would definitely recommend.

The first day we walked in, we spotted 3 of them in the hallway and 1 in the master bedroom. We cleaned them out and didn't really think of it. Every single day for the next week, there were ants in the hallway. It was DISGUSTING. The front desk only seemed mildly concerned. They sent someone to spray, but that obivously didn't help. They finally offered to move us, but we only had a couple nights left by then. I have photos and videos of this apparant ant infestation. Gross. Don't stay here.

I managed to grip it. And none of the staff seemed to care. They also didn't care that my husband was holding up the damn thing until finally someone came to fix the situation. This should of been compensated. Either with another drink, a dessert, or my meal off. I didn't even get an apology. I have heard mixed reviews of this place and I would say try some where else. The fact that the restaurant manager didn't even apologize should say something. I won't even bother with the review of the food. The planning phase: Marni and Bev were extremely helpful, from managing the cabin payments to suggestions on where to host the various parts of the day. The food: Options were delicious. A couple of our friends are vegan, two are celiacs. The staff were very accomadating, and the food we had in the end was amazing (prime rib with yorkshire puddings: delicious). Ann, the caterer, did a great job. The cabins: They're awesome. Beautiful and rustic, yet with all the modern amenities you'd expect. Everything is clean and well maintained. A few of them have large decks, perfect for having little mini-gatherings throughout the weekend. The barn (for speeches, dinner and dancing): Just great. Two floors, just enough space. I think we had 70 people or so, and we squeezed in. After dinner we just moved the tables aside and had plenty of space. They have a projector if you want to put anything up, and a nice sound system. We had a DJ, and there was space for him to set up as well. And a few random notes: - Marni is the best. She drove us all over the place with our photographer to get some truly amazing photos. Seriously, the photo tour was priceless. - The grounds are beautiful. If you're a city-dweller like us, it was such a lovely change of pace to have those beautiful mountain views. My family really enjoyed it as well. - It rained (Heavily!) during our ceremony, outside. We were initially panicking but Marni and the rest handled it like pros, wiping down the benches and handing out umbrellas. They even had a cart to give rides to the grandparents. It ended up being a great time. We were going to have a toast outside afterwards, but we just moved it to the barn instead. They transported the champagne and glasses so quickly no one even realized the plan had changed! - They have so many awesome lawn games to play. I only wish we had more spare time to enjoy them! Everyone had something fun to do, all the time. - They were super accommodating. We got a keg and big batch of donuts from inveremere, and they offered to drive them in the day of for us! - They recommended putting down some small lights to mark the path between barn and cabins. We did it, and it was definitely worthwhile - it gets dark! I'd give them 6/5 if I could. Worth every penny. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

It is quiet and tranquil with a gorgeous view of Kootenay Lake. There is a BBQ which can be used by guests in the outdoor common dining area on the upper level. There is a small play area with swings and a tree house. Adirondack chairs are scattered around, mostly towards the direction of the lake. The suites are mostly 1 and 2 bedrooms and they are spacious, with a living room (sofa bed) and small kitchen. The rooms are clean and each one have a different look. It is definitely not a cookie cutter,nondescript room. It is family run and the owners are friendly and ready with suggestions on dining places and activities. It is just 10-15 minutes drive away from downtown Nelson, so it is quite convenient to get around. It is also near Ainsworth Hot Springs and Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park. I will stay here again if I am ever in Nelson.

Just to start off I am a intermediate level snowboarder but I also ski and a moderate to high…read morelevel. Overall the hill was nice but I think there are things that won't make me want to come back here anytime soon. First is I don't love that the majority of the blue and green runs are off a single chair, granted I understand that they are limited with what they have but I find for the beginner level people it is difficult to really move off the main quad chair which does move fast but is a bit of a wait. As well due to the main run being the nicest and easiest there are many many kids on it which does make the run more difficult as you try to avoid them and since you have to pass over the road it funnels people quite a lot. Second is I found the black runs were not only packed with moguls which is fine but they were very icy, and there was a lack of powder. The blacks also feel a bit unkept as they didn't seem very well groomed and not much snow to cushion. I do have to say I only went here for one day of skiing and hit about 10 different runs in the day. I did enjoy the ski out and the lines were not super long which made the day much more enjoyable!

It has very few greens and even those are blue-like in their steepness. That said, the mountain is beautiful! So natural and majestic - almost humbling to look at. The ski instruction and all the staff we met - in ticket office, rental shop, retail shop, restaurants were super warm and friendly and just seem so happy to be working here. I took 3 amazing half day lessons and went down the mountain - white knuckling sure, but eager for another ski trip sometime soon. We stayed at Northstar, which is amazing ski-in, ski-out. Sooooo convenient to jump out of bed, into your skis, and down the slope you go!
