Friend had a beautiful wedding. Great photo ops around the grounds. Bring bug spray if in the grass. But didn't let it spoil our time.

Held our wedding here it was perfect! The venue is beautiful and well taken care of, the family is wonderful and so helpful. Venue came with a bartender who was lovely, and the DJ we hired through them was amazing as well! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect night. Highly recommend!! read more

I recently attended and helped coordinate a friend's wedding at the White Ranch...wow, what a GREAT venue!!! The grounds are beautiful, lush, green, gorgeous...but I have to write my review about the AMAZING help that we got from Donna and Tom White, the owners. They loaned us all of the below, which we forgot to bring, or didn't have and needed: Corkscrews Salad dressing (which the caterer forgot to bring) Super glue Cake plates, forks, and napkins They were SO friendly and gracious, didn't make us feel bad for asking (we felt like idiots, believe me!!!!), and were as helpful as can be. They were there when we needed them! I would so highly recommend the White Ranch for your wedding. The kids had fun, the adults had fun, even in 106 degree heat, it was a memorable, fabulous occasion. Thanks, White Ranch!!! read more

My husband and I were married in April of 2011 at the The White Ranch in Chico. From the day we took the tour of the venue, Donna White, owner of the ranch was extremely helpful, nice and truly cared what the bride and groom wanted for their big day. Anytime we needed to come to the ranch to look around and brainstorm about where we were going to put things or simply bring family members to look at the site, she was always welcoming. The day of our wedding was the best day of our lives. The place was absolutely gorgeous with so many different flowers and greenery. They have a big playground for kids of all ages to play on and a built in dance floor. They have different areas on their property that the ceremony can take place...we chose the grass area in front of the Weeping Willow. Overall, The White Ranch is an amazing place. I strongly recommend this place to any bride and groom looking for a place to make their wedding day a magical one. read more

Donna and Tom were such a joy and a pleasure to work with for our wedding day! We just had our wedding and they were the most accommodating and warm vendor I've ever worked with (both for my wedding and for other events). Their venue even has a "borrowing room" for the DIY bride on a budget (super helpful for last minute decorations!). The venue itself is stunningly beautiful, with two willow trees, a huge pond (with a fountain), tons of grassy areas, a playground, arbors and pergolas, and of course beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere. Most of the trees close to the house have lanterns and string lights, which created such a romantic feel. Where to begin.... This venue is absolutely gorgeous! The owner Donna White is such a kind and genuine lady! She really helped my fiancé and I out with advice and support when we were in need of it! I highly highly recommend this place. On site they have a beautiful willow tree, huge pond with a water fountain in the middle, playground, covered reception area for hot days, super cute shabby chic bar built in and a great dance area...and so much more. I got married here on 09-19-09. Very pretty, well worth everytrhing, romantic setting, fairy tail like. Very friendly owners. Cannot stress enough how pretty this place is or how great & wonderful the owners are. If you want a romantic outdoors wedding hold it here....there is a play ground for the kids to keep busy on, lots of wonderful picture spots, I fully agree with the review from Chelsea M. The White Ranch is the most beautiful wedding venue i have ever been to. It is a ranch which is like an oaisis and the owners are this couple who are the sweetest people you will ever meet. Their house is above the ranch and the ranch itself is filled with bright green grass, gorgeous plants, amazingly colorful flowers, a large pond/lake with a beautiful weeping willow tree which comes out from the water and hangs over a walkway onto the grass, so you can walk underneath it. There are fruit orchards and two beautiful Spanish donkeys who are warm and loving. This place is like heaven! read more

The White Ranch is a beautiful spot for a wedding. Both of my sons were married there in 2009. The Whites are wonderful people to work with and make you feel like family the moment you meet them. Whenever we told a vendor where our location was, they all agreed that Tom and Donna White were wonderful to work with. Our guests appreciated the playground for the kids, the twinkle lights were magical, the fountain and willow tree by the pond were so romantic. We also love that the venue was ours for three days, all included in the price. So nice to set up with no rush the day before, then break down the day after the wedding. We had one wedding in May and the other in October...beautiful weather for both. I would highly recommend this beautiful wedding facility. read more
