My favorite thing about this bar is that it is within walking distance from the Hampton inn! You can enjoy some food and drinks and then walk back to the hotel. This most recent time I visited I enjoyed the meatballs and some rum and cokes. They offer different food specials throughout the week. They also have most types of liquor and beers. You can spend a few hours here and it won't cost you much! This is not a high class bar so if that's what your looking for, go somewhere else. They have a bar area that you can order their signature Wine & Ciders at (along with just about any other drink you can think of), and you're allowed to take those drinks right outside to the Fire Pit they turn on during the evenings (you can even see the stars as you lounge outside, really amazing little spot). Beyond that though, it's a regular, casual dining spot. My wife and I have tried several menu items over the last couple of years, and our recent meal of Chili + Fries next to a very tasty grilled corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut & melted Swiss cheese was perfect for a no-fuss lunch together. Staff are super accommodating and polite, day or night. Then we sat and sat and sat again waiting for a waiter who showed up about 20 minutes after we were seated. We were ready to order but he just wanted drink orders. He wrote nothing down and remembered even less. Then he brought us a lemonade which neither of us ordered. The weed gummies must be good in this part of the country. We ordered drinks and soups. The soups didn't show up until dessert time. Waiters who write nothing down should be jailed or flogged. We're undecided which. I ordered a turkey panini that allegedly had cranberries on it. My husband had a patty melt. I ordered a salad on the side. I got fries instead. We waited forever for the main courses and when they finally arrived there was no ketchup or mustard. We asked for it but it never showed up. My turkey panini was bland as hell with no discernible cranberries anywhere. And the fries I didn't order were gross and soggy. But I didn't dare ask for a salad knowing I wasn't going to get it. We are currently driving home wishing we had gone to Applebees or Denny's instead. The waiter was pleasant but totally unaware of how slow and frustrating he was. WRITE SHIT DOWN. And move like you have rent to pay please. Even still he had the confidence to ask for a tip. Good for him. It was a bold move after having to apologize every time he approached the table. My husband tips everybody way too much all the time. But this time he looked this guy dead in the eyes and said "10%" with no hesitation. I've never been more in love. This time 'round we had Ellie as our server, who gave us great suggestions on the specials and main menu items - and also Justin when we sat at the bar on another evening (super talented drink mixologist). They're just really great at making you feel welcome, you're taken care of every step of the way. The food comes out quick, you have just enough time to relax and chat between dishes but we've never felt like we had to wait long - despite how packed the place always gets (popular spot, for sure). But yeah aside from the terrific service, the main reason we keep coming back is the quality of the dishes they consistently put out there. This trip we got to try the "Friendship Fries" as a moderately spicy, super flavorful appetizer, and then we split a whole branzino in a delicious horseradish sauce. And because we heard great things about their burgers, we came back just now for another dinner and split one of those too - predictably great, barely any condiments needed really. Juicy, well-cooked and tasty as heck. They have a super extensive wine selection from FLX, France, Italy and all across the U.S., but we tend to order from their cocktail menu - just tried the "Ship of Theseus" today. Unique flavor and delightful to sip on. We kinda wanna find another spot in Geneva just so we don't get overly attached, and end up spending most dinners here from now on, whenever we're in town. The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the meal, making the experience enjoyable. The food was good, though it wasn't particularly memorable or outstanding. We both love poutine. The fries was good but the gravy was a bit too salty and it definitely need more cheese curds. Overall, it's a great spot for dinner with friends or family, especially if you're in the area and looking for a pleasant dining experience.
