The ordering system on the website was quite buggy, but they did allow allergy orders to be processed as long as you phoned up to speak to a manager first, I did this and the manager seemed really friendly and helpful.
The price for delivery is far too high, my standard meal cost is £11.75, they not only charged a much higher delivery charge compared to other systems of £2.50 but a further £2 as my order wasn't over £15 before delivery.
The food arrived quite quickly which was a bonus with the Nando's delivery driver, but the food its-self was really bad quality, firstly the chips were so greasy, they were soggy, wet, bland and horrible to the point they were just inedible and the fact they included no napkins or cutterly or seasoning, just made matters worse. (Luckily I got something from my hotel bar)
The chicken was also in a horrible box, which couldn't possibly be used to eat from, perhaps it was a mixture of it being poor quality and the chicken being greasy, the chicken tasted a little chewy and bland too, and on its' own without the inedible chips, just made it worse.
From awful, greasy food quality at sky-high prices, if you even think of having it delivered, while also missing out on spending and redeeming loyalty points to a buggy online ordering process which crashed two times when I tried to place my order, this Nando's branch certainly isn't true representation of a chain I know and love and I'm a regular of, and Nando's Mile End is an insult to the Nando's name, reputation and brand and surely deserves a single one-star rating.
