Service was also a bit lukewarm, but whatevs. It being my first time here, I thought it best to go with one of their benchmark signatures and ordered The Legend burger with smoked applewood cheese and a side of sweet potato fries with a bacon mayonnaise dipping sauce. I have to say, that was one darn good burger. The meat was perfectly cooked, the sauce they used balanced out all the flavors nicely, and those fries were cooked to such perfection, I had to force myself to use the dipping sauce so it wouldn't go to waste. There was nothing wrong with this meal. And the price wasn't bad, either. They also have a nice selection of cheap cocktails, beers, and dessert on the menu, but for all that, you're going to need an extra stomach or two.

I ordered a garlic mayo chicken wrap without the tortilla wrap, making it gluten-free, with the Uber EATS delivery free, the order came to £7.88 which was £2.99 for the wrap £1.49 for fries £3.50 for delivery After waiting (it took a rather long time for them to prepare the food), my delivery arrived quite quickly, with this branch located around a mile away from my hotel but I was upset and angry to find out, they'd got my order wrong which had only happened once before in Liverpool. They'd included the wrong chicken... after struggling to eat for two days for a mixture of reasons they'd gave me fried chicken which contained gluten, which I'm allergic too. Considering they look nothing alike and I requested grilled, with grilled being stated on a sticker which secured the box closed, and the bag, they knew it was grilled but included fried anyway? The restauraunt made no attempt to contact me, and despite phoning them eight times they wouldn't even speak to me about the order, I had to deal with Uber EATS who offered me a PARTIAL REFUND. Why should I have to pay £4.99 for a large fries? They still expected me to pay the high delivery and cost for something they refused to replace and I wouldn't have ordered without the wrap. The chips themselves were anaemic, they seemed to try and make up for that by overseasoning them and in all honesty, it just made the disgusting mess worse. The presentation was poor even for McDonald's standards, with no cutterly, napkins or seasoning in the bag, not that you needed the latter of course. A terrible branch of McDonald's and a disgrace to the chain together, sadly in my May 2019 trip this was one of three awful visits to the huge American fast food chain, and possibly the worst out of the lot, and even a one-star rating seems to be generous here.

The burgers are indeed delicious, juicy and yummy. Basically you choose if you want a regular burger, a cheeseburger or a steak burger and add some toppings (like bacon or sauces) you might want with it. Are you a vegetarian? No problem, they have veggie option. Also, they are pretty flexible in changing the order or the ingredients inside the burger (which you may know is not very common in London), so if you want something different or want your burger cooked another way they encourage you to let them know, so your experience will be even better. I've been to Tommi's for lunch yesterday; I got there right around noon and that was a good thing as the lunch crowd started to pour in just after me. I ordered the "Deal of the Century", which includes a burger, fries and a drink. Although they have a couple of sauces on sale, I don't think they're necessary as they also offer a wide variety of free condiments, such as various ketchups, mayos, chilli sauce & my absolute favourite...the caramalised onion. (They are that good and I wouldn't be surprised if they started charging for them soon.) Like I said, I like Tommi's Burger Joint - especially for the fact that it's dared to come to a rather bland location. I just hope that they won't get this silly idea to expand their emporium in a Byron style fashion...as soon as I see another Burger Joint popping up, they will have lost me as a costumer. I plea you: stay unique!
