We were able to hang out downstairs in the breakfast area that evening. It was nice to be able to catch up and watch for other family members to show up. I love the decor of the lobby and the staff were pretty helpful and friendly. There's a bowl of apples and water available when you check in. They have a small fitness center that has a refillable water station. This place has an indoor pool and jacuzzi (separate areas). They only had 2 Queens available instead of a King but that was okay. The room and hotel common areas were clean. The air conditioner works great. Water pressure was good and it got hot fast. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave. It had a desk, full length mirror and luggage shelf. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good. They have scrambled eggs, omelettes and hard boiled eggs. The oatmeal had 11 different toppings (the most I've seen at any hotel we've stayed at). Other offerings: biscuits and gravy. Bagels, bread and English muffins to toast. Mini muffins, bananas, yogurt, milk, orange juice and apple juice. Waffle station. The only thing they didn't have was sausage or bacon. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Not only was the staff very friendly and accommodating, but also went above and beyond Saturday morning (28JAN2023) by voluntarily opening up their breakfast bar 30 minutes early so that our students could eat before they had to check in at the Warrensburg High School for their competition. That meant a lot to me, personally, that they took care of their student guests to that extent. In addition, two students left forgotten items behind. One was promptly returned to me later that morning when it was discovered, and following that after we had left the region, another item was found with the promise that it would be sent back to the student. This is exactly what customer service and general human kindness and stewardship is all about! Thank you for our wonderful experience here. You all certainly made us feel at home while away. So, here are the three negatives I have found. 1. The location of the hotel is on the end of town. If you want to walk anywhere you need to be prepared to walk pretty far. 2. At 4:00, they gave the guests cookies. The breakfast, which you order and they give you is also nice. There's a menu in the wall and it's completely COVID safe. The rooms are spacious. Mine had 2 beds. The bathroom had Neutragena products. There was a closet with an iron and ironing board behind the mirror. And mostly the beds were extremely comfortable. We found 2 charging stations next to the bed. They literally thought of everything. Refrigerator, microwave and large tv. Very clean and thoughtful.Best part: I didn't have to leave before 5:00 am for the race. I would stay at this hotel again.
