It looked like we would be stuck until Tuesday. We found the nearest motel and thought we'd be there for at least two nights. We got a hold of Serge, who has a garage in the small town of Saint Leonard. He opened up shop just for us first thing Monday morning. Once he diagnosed the problem he ended up driving to the town over to pick up the parts he needed. Luckily he was friends with the part store owner, because they also opened up the shop just for us. He picked up the part, fixed our truck, and had us back on the road by 11am. Best of all, his price was absolutely unexpected. I would highly recommend this mechanic. You have to have a special machine to vacuum out the old a/c and put new in, and you need a special machine that can properly bend the exhaust pipe.
