When the weather turned just days before out event, he was able to pivot with us to enlarge the tent and add sides to help it stay warmer inside. After everything was set up he realized one piece was missing for one table, and went out of his way to get it and bring it all the way back to our property so the setup was perfect. His team was friendly, respectful, timely and did an A+ job setting up the tent, tables, chairs and all the rentals we ordered. Great communication, friendly service, quality product.

Flushing toilet, running water in the sink, solar light, basket of toiletries, hand soap, paper towels, a flower, etc,etc,etc. It was so clean and no one had a problem using it. Josie and Erin were easy to work with, very responsive and lovely, and helpful with advice and answers when we needed it. They worked directly with both our venue (Sailing Camp) and caterer (Tea Lane) so that we didn't have to continually coordinate ourselves which was awesome, and were even very prompt to issue a refund on the end bill when our inventory was slightly adjusted (along with a nice Congrats card, very thoughtful). Both the planning and execution went off as smooth as can be, and we were pleased with both the service and result. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing rentals on island.

She was easy to work with despite my color coordinating and being overwhelmed Debbie was so helpful. Our wedding ceremony at Edgartown lighthouse and she got her crew out there and set all the chairs up. All the linens were wrinkle free and even the burgundy napkins all the same shade for the reception.

Led me to believe a clear-top tent would be fine, for two years. Week of the event, they let me…read moreknow that a clear top tent would be too hot and they usually don't do that in the summer. Understandable but this would have been nice to know. I could never quite get them to speak to the caterer to make sure everyone had what they needed. Delivered the wrong table linens, many of which were stained. Failed to bring silverware or napkins to one of the three events we used them for. They have yet to offer a refund for the silverware and I'm afraid to ask in case I have to speak to the mean owner again. Owner called me on the morning of my wedding to yell at me for making "last minute" requests (due to something *entirely* out of my control--the caterer had assumed we had a garage, which we didn't, so we asked if there was any way we could rent a catering tent. We were prepared to figure something out if we couldn't). A failure of communication led me to believe we would be able to have additional string lights instead of bistro lights, which turned out not to be the case. It's *fine* that we didn't get them but the owner basically accused me of lying ("my guys are adamant that they put in string lights" "I know, I was hoping for additional string lights." "We OFFERED you bistro lights and you DECLINED!" "Ok so we can't get additional string lights." "No, there's no time and we've been out there once already!" "Right, to fix the linens which were both the wrong size and stained.". Owner kept claiming on the phone that they had been "very professional" (if you have to tell me how professional you're being, that's a good sign that you're not). The bottom line is that I understand that mistakes and miscommunications happen, but the bad attitude from the owner left me feeling pretty awful about the whole thing. Stay away. There must be nicer people in this business.

We searched low and high for an affordable wedding venue on the Cape and couldn't have been happier…read morewith the Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club. Working with Dawn, the event coordinator was such a wonderful experience. The WLYC sits right on Wequaquet Lake, making it a dreamy backdrop for all of our pictures. Every single person we interacted with (especially Dawn) at WLYC was genuinely kind and helpful throughout the entire process, we never felt like we were just another wedding. We were able to bring in our own catering and use their kitchen. Part of their contract is to use their bar and bartenders (who were amazing, our guests raved about them!), fortunately their alcohol was very reasonably priced. The whole dining room faces the lake and large windows run the length of the room, there was plenty of space for all of our (17) tables and still room for dancing! They done a number of renovations over the past few years, giving the dining and entry rooms a beautiful facelift (and a higher ceiling) without losing any of the Cape yacht club charm. This venue is amazing whether or not you're planning your event on a budget (but especially if you are). Check it out, talk to Dawn, you will not regret it!
