My daughter actually looks forward to going to the doctor for her check ups. I think it's because she likes to ask Dr. Joe about his cats. The two of them will chat about their pets and share funny animal pics with each other. It is silly, but things like this continue to build upon their relationship and I just love that. Another bonus point is this office is a Covid vaccine site. They provide the vaccines for all of their patients, as well as their caregivers. At my daughter's last visit, we were both able to get our booster shots at the end of the visit. Sweet! It's a one shop vaccine stop. Anything that eliminates an extra errand for me is a win in my book.

But Dr Cheng had some few reviews and they were all positive! Im glad I picked him to be our boys pediatrician. All of my boys (age 8, 5, and 22 months) love and trust him. He is very fun and engages the children in silly conversation. He explains everything to the children and guides them through step by step through the examination. No surprises and no tears! He is also great in following up with you if you came in with something more serious than a cold and little bruise. Hands on one of the best pediatric we had (and we had quite a bit of experience with dr as we have three very active boys!)

However, on arrival I was forced to sign a paper that let me know they don't do any kind of alternate vaccine schedules. I was surprised by this. I waited to give my daughter the heb B vaccine in the hospital because she was in the NICU and was very small, so I wanted to wait a few weeks to her due date to start her vaccines. Dr Baine put a lot of pressure on me and gave me a horror story about a woman who didn't know she had Hep B and gave it to her child. The follow up at my daughters two week was the same.. more pressure about not having the vaccine yet. I fully planned on doing all of her shots but I wanted to be heard about my concerns with a preemie and wanting to wait for her due date. Very disappointed and I did not go back.

Unable to see a child in pain and experts in bad behavior towards parents scheduled an appointment for 11:30 AM. It was entered in their system as 11:15, and I -- the parent who booked it -- never received a confirmation. We arrived three minutes past the grace period for a time we hadn't agreed to, and our sick toddler was refused care. My child was in visible pain with a worsening infection and was never assessed or even looked at. No other physician was offered, no referral, no urgent-care suggestion. The front desk and office manager spent the time arguing with us about the clock rather than showing any concern for the sick child in front of them. This wasn't a one-off. Getting a timely sick visit with the MD has consistently been difficult, despite the practice advertising same-day sick visits. Zero compassion. If you need a pediatrician who will actually see your child when they're sick, look elsewhere. We've moved our care.

I think it's unacceptable to be treating patients this way who have been seen by the same office for years. They told me they would charge me today for the missed appointment. If I didn't want to be charged I needed to come in today. If I came in today, they would change the appointment to a sick visit in which case I would still need to be charged. I asked if they would charge no matter what today, and the front office person said "I guess". This is what is wrong with medical offices nowadays. Our baby was in distress, crying uncontrollably, running a fever, with goopy eyes and a very runny nose. We immediately took her to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with two ear infections. While we respect the need for policies, turning away an infant in such condition over a one-minute delay feels unreasonable. We have always appreciated Dr. Moore's care, but our interactions with the office staff have been consistently unpleasant. As a result, I canceled my child's scheduled check-up and will be seeking alternative care for her moving forward.
